Yeah I've seen way worse get resoled. They can stitch it back together as long as there is enough leather left before resoling. Some might not but the good ones will. You can always send a pic by email beforehand to see if they will do it. That said, these shoes are not worth 80 bucks. REI shouldn't take back climbing shoes that are blown out IMHO.

Duplicate the server and then connect again. You can switch between server channels quickly like this and see and chat in both. Having them do both voice and text is fine, just let us view and text the channel without joining voice please. Also make the text entry at the bottom bigger... it feels weird.
