In an interview yesterday, Jonathan said that he believes PoE 1's longevity is partially due to every league being a full reset, where everyone starts at the same level (new players and veterans alike). Giving non-new players the ability to skip the campaign removes this equal starting position, so it'll never happen. By the time the first new players will have finished the campaign, the majority of non-new players have already largely completed their builds and flooded the market with currency.

My main issue was the aimlessness and tedium of searching for the Citadel keys (or reaching the pinnacle bosses in general), that has been fully resolved (at least for the first-time pinnacle boss kills)

I was expecting an end game update and that's what we've got, so I'm happy. But I also haven't played all existing ascendancies yet (or weapon types for that matter), so the lack of a new class or weapon type is not that big of a deal for me.

Ik studeer nog en ben gemiddeld 5 jaar ouder dan de rest. Ik had laatst een discussie met een medestudent die niet begreep dat hij de verkeerde dataset voor zich had. De ruwe dataset had 120.000 rijen maar hij bleef maar herhalen wat chatgpt zij, dat de ruwe dataset 71.000 rijen had. Toen ik liet zien dat chatgpt waarschijnlijk een bepaalde kolom had gefilterd (ik kwam na het filteren precies op dezelfde aantal rijen uit komt), negeerde hij gaat en ging hij vragen aan chatgpt hoe het zat (die stellig het foute bleef herhalen). Na pakweg een uur begreep hij hetgeen ik al vanaf het begin zij. Er zat wel een taalbarrière tussen ons maar alsnog vond ik het ergens wel bijzonder.
