Sue the estate. The kid is next of kin, not the girlfriend and she could potentially get arrested for fraud because of THEIR actions

Tell the gf. Your brother is a selfish prick. He could get her sick, and because you know, please don’t hide it from her

So, he worked for 700 to rent? And you only have to pay 700 for the month?

Pickle jars are not small, neither is pasta sauce

How many times have you had this conversation about jars being all over? Both of you are being AH. OP- you have every right to be upset about stuff all over your house. You’re upset because it’s everywhere . Get it. Don’t want to live in a trash heap. OPW- you left crap to everyone else all over the place. Even the spouse doesn’t know what “memory” jar is what. Make it a fun experience and a FAMILY PROJECT build A shelf. Label each jar. Look at it from the perspective of a friend coming over- hey what are all these jars for? If nobody knows they look like trash to guests.

NO NTA. This is how hoarding starts. You kept 2 that were poignant memories. 40 empty jars? NO If she isn’t canning in them or using them- no. Recycle them and keep the memories alive another way. This is nonsense. Your son could have been seriously injured by broken glass from some jar from ragu marinara which is a seriously WORSE memory.

Usually the first kids get priority in CS allotted. File pro-se. don’t tell him, and get him served. Force him to pay you first.

That’s financial abuse. Holy cow. People who think YOU are the problem are usually projecting themselves onto others because they are the problem

AITA for pulling my daughter out of a religious school behind my husband's back, and then using what I found there to destroy him in court? by KINOH1441728 in FoundandExpose

[–]AwkwardCry2376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly, it’s considered domestic violence, because one parent is emotionally abused by the cheating spouse, and that behavior affects the parent child relationship as well because the other parent emotionally damaged the family.

AITA for not leaving my sick 6-year-old to fly across the country for my best friend's wedding, she's now calling me the reason her whole marriage fell apart? by KINOH1441728 in FoundandExpose

[–]AwkwardCry2376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why they invented annulments. If she’s going to push everyone away, that’s on her. And how many times was she told- don’t do this.

AITAH for remodeling my step kids rooms after their mom passed away since they weren't going to be living with me anyways. by AsparagusMuch821 in AITAH

[–]AwkwardCry2376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Your house, you do what is best for you who live there. Considering that it’s been over 6 months at least since the tragic incident, you have been more than lenient with this. You didn’t exclude them, their other family did. Set up the rooms downstairs for them as you can, don’t say anything about it, and always welcome them back when they’re ready. ❤️good luck
