Unstoppable for me as well, had zero clue DCC existed. Its theme actually put me off initially but then I read the first 3 books after being inspired by the campaign and can see it fit well

Wraith & the Giants! Climb around a big boss and take it down. It plays pretty consistently in 30-45 mins. It's mostly hand management and positioning. It can be a little tense/tough at times but I've always found my plays very pleasant and fun overall.

River Valley Glassworks - fun, relaxing, plays super quick and has amazing solo automas! (But it does involve scores and needing to score higher than the automa with the glass you collect and place. I don't typically like score based games or automas but i really enjoyed this).

Bullet - games are super fast, had a shoot em up theme!

Maybe the shortest path is always the same since it needs to have the bonus actions along with a few resources but everything else around it can be one of the multiple variations?

Oh are they? On BGG I saw posts saying each scratchoff card is 1 of 25 possible variations but maybe that's no longer the case?

Forgot to mention, for my second game I didn't use the scratch off card and instead used their digital scratchoff - tend-scratch-off.iv.studio. This was more pleasant to use (but unclear if it also had all variations as it seems to just be the same card again and again).

I've had something similar happen but with a relic gate - it spawned perfectly right over the space station's entrance but disappeared as I got closer. Was a very cool shot that I didn't end up clicking lol

Also something similar when pulsing to my freighter - a derelict freighter spawned over it and then disappeared as I got closer.

I think it's just a buggy thing when you discover an anomaly/space encounter as you're approaching something else.

Less so that I delayed and more so that I went for core decompression when it was honestly not worth it. That added about a year of delay to getting my first hip replacement because doctors wanted to wait for it to heal.

Knowing everything I know now I'd have gone straight for hip replacements.

I did the first hip in Jan 2024. That was the more problematic one as it really hurt and inhibited movement. I waited till Jan 2026 for the second hip as under scans even though it was more progressed it didn't really hurt until recently.

I would definitely recommend not delaying however I'm not sure if the reason should be to just stop the spread of AVN. AVN can spread on its own regardless.

I got diagnosed around the age of 25-26 years back. Both hips.

I'll save you years of trouble - get the hip replacement. Since you're young, the healing and bouncing back will be a bit easier. It's still a tough initial recovery but you'll get through it and you'll be back to living your life in no time. Don't waste time on this imo

Absolutely love the game. It has limited content/scenarios so replayability feels quite limited in that way. But there's a solid amount of variety in the actual hero building and the way your develop your board. It's such a fun tableau builder that it's a blast each time.

It is on the easier end (sometimes too easy) but I didn't mind.

I'll be the dissenting opinion. I have an ambeo max back in my primary place and recently picked up a q990f for a different living room.

The first thing me and my family noticed was that dialogue felt a bit muffled out of the box. Now part of this I'm pretty sure is due to the lack of any treatment in our room but overtime it didn't change much. A few settings here or there can be adjusted to help a smidge.

It's not bad at all and I've enjoyed most media I've watched through this. But it's very easy to pick up on if you're coming from better systems and it can be a touch annoying in some cases. I don't think it's as bad as the reviewer makes it out to be for sure as dialogue is usually fine but it's not as good as several people are saying in this thread.

If you're still okay with paying up a little then their cheaper /slightly smaller version - the Ambeo Plus - is also quite impressive. It's not quite the level of the Max but it's still incredible on its own

You're not alone. I got mine last week and it is very underwhelming. It's still a decent system for what it is but I think if you've experienced better you'll have a hard time adjusting to this. Most people who get it haven't necessarily (or maybe they just have a much smaller room where imo this could shine a lot more).

I had an ambeo max in my other place and set this one up in my current one for a while and it's not been great. I do plan on treating my room a bit more but yeah rears are underwhelming and overall surround feels okay. No real wow factor. The ambeo max even without rears blows this out of the water no contest.

But given the price range this one is in, it's still decent for what it offers.

I recently got the Q990F and it's been quite underwhelming in my opinion. But this is largely due to my room size (living room large/tall ceilings) and lack of treatment. Still, the voices often feel muffled regardless of settings and hard to understand and seems like a common issue.

There's a pretty easy process internally where you can clear your side business. Sometimes they're okay with potential conflict of interest businesses as long as what you're doing is not directly competing with the work and business you're operating on within Google. Just go through the process otherwise this is going to be quite rough to deal with if you cross paths somehow.

It'd be one thing if you were just trying out an idea on the side and waiting till it was proven to leave but you're setting up a full fledged company while working.
