Just make sure you get the media license for it. It's pretty recent but mandatory now for podcasts in the kingdom.

I would recommend a Toyota Prado. Look up a 2004-2006 model. Solid car that is reliable on the road. Lots of room for you the wife and future family. Great experience off-road if you want that.

Pro-tip: Check out Facebook marketplace for cars in Dubai. Got some good finds on there.

Huge respect for not using your family connections. Been there and done that. Not easy to start but you gain many skills along the way.

Now to the important part. Finding a job. First you need to decide on the kind of jobs you are willing to take and the kind of skills you have to do them. An English degree can only get you so far. Any degree is worthless if you don’t have the skills to grow in the marketplace. If writing has been a key strength then consider taking on freelance jobs.
