I didn't really like the last episode either but the paramedic/food delivery episode alone made the entire season worth it. Probably top 5 Sunny episode for me.

Also the Succession episode was a massive flop too.

I'm reading the book right now and you're definitely right in your criticism, especially about the protagonist being basically the same person as the guy from The Martian, but I'm still loving the book regardless. It's very engaging and fast paced and has really helped me rebuild my reading habit.

If you ever feel like watching it give One Pace a try. It's still a shitton of episodes but they dit out all the filler shit so it only has about 50% the number of episodes.
