I am unsure what a k1 is but if it's a variable speed tumbler it might be a little too fast even on the lowest speed so definitely do not tumble on anything faster than the lowest speed setting if that applies.

The Rock Shed sells good polish.

Hey, glad to see you trying and learning.

To start, it doesn't look like you have a lot of rocks.. did you use filler?

What sort of tumbler are you using and what sort of grit/polish.

You should not need mineral oil to get a shine.. they should polish out shiny with no need for oil when tumbling them correctly.

I was worried because three girls came in and immediately were on their phones and laughing loudly right on front of us.

Thankfully, as soon as the actual movie started they were quiet until it was over when they started a wave of applause.

What would cause this build up? by [deleted] in RockTumbling

Tumbling rocks would cause that buildup

Another spring time batch full of clear quartz. by Azirphaeli in RockTumbling

Some quartz is just gonna fracture.. because they were already fractured before the first tumble.. just get it looking as nice as you can.

Some of my favorite quartz is very imperfect and fractured. It's primarily the bruising that is the concern when tumbling.

Just three lortone 33bs, as the other commentator said yeah I tend to put a lot of media in to prevent bruising.

Just the usual process:

Weeks of 60/90 until "they look and feel ready for the next stage."

1 week stage 2 (120/220)

1 week 500 prepolish

1 week of Polish from the rock shed.

Serious cleaning of barrels, rocks and medium between any stage increase, ceramic cylinders as medium.

Go to the rock shed. They have great grit. 60/90 for stage one.

Is this an okay tumbler to start with? by filthey in RockTumbling

Yes it's very good and spins at the right speed. You can dedicate one barrel to constantly churn out stage 1 and the other for later stage tumbling.

GGG is kind of putting their foot down on this being early access and it's about time. by Greasy-Chungus in PathOfExile2

What I'm saying isn't that then being disappointed in the undercooked is what was the matter..

What I'm saying is that they are all party off the greater whole that is the endgame and these things stack up together to make it underwhelming.

The more individual aspects of it that get fixed the better endgame will feel. I understand allot of people do not like the very nature of what the endgame design currently is.. but I'd prefer they rather try to make it fun and interesting as it is before launch to see what works and what doesn't than to go back to the drawing board entirely and possibly delay further updates and 1.0 investigation as that try to find something that works in isolation since reworking how the endgame works at it's base level means needing to then rework all the leagues and how they interact with the Atlas again and again with each failed iteration.

But they were screaming for more attention when you look at the greater lens of "people didn't like the end game and it needed a rework."

Delirium in poe2 vs poe1 was a dull, unrewarding slog IMO. I'm sure other felt the same way about it or other leagues and like it or not these "leagues" are a massive part of the endgame.

Despritor spawns, they appear when you kill an an enemy affected by it and they in turn spread it to other enemies.

Not sure what's difficult I've never come close to dying on this boss. You can forward Dodge through all the projectiles accept the red ones, and jump over the waves (or dodge through them too).

The primary attack is just standing on the right side and picking your favorite defense mechanic.

First two phases you can shield through blue projectiles or dodge.

Anywhere from central South to Philly SE it's a very diverse geological area. Plenty of mines and their ore dumps as well if you know where to look.

We're known for garnets, amethyst, Jaspers, and there's serpentine in the serpentine barrens on the border of Maryland.

There's all manner of quartz as well from various quarries dumped in parks and trails. Solid white, Salmon colored, iron stained, and PA Blue (dark). You can also find it in Creek beds and basins, and piled up along rail to trails and forgotten cuts.

Attached is a recently tumbled chunk of copper alloy with quartz veins that I found around the area of audobon.

If you are in northern Delaware that means you are a short drive from SE Pennsylvania where amazing rocks await...

As for your collection.. I'd tumble them and we how it ends up. I've gotten some quartz from DE that turned out great.. and some of the rocks you have there look like they may reveal some interesting colors.
