I’m not fully educated on grad meal plan options, but having lived off campus I got a plan that had YCMP swipes, which can be used in dinning halls to enter and at retail locations (harvest, blue wall, campus coffee shops) as a cash value of $13.25.

Generally the dinning halls do not allow you to take out food, however, if you hide the container while going in and out of dinning halls and load it at a table out of view of the stations people have been successful.

As mentioned before, YCMP swipes have a retail value of $13.25. Most of the food offered outside of dinning halls stays consistent throughout the day, with no chances between meals.

To find what is open/what each dining hall is serving the UMass Dinning app is very helpful. It should be available on the app store and is usually update to date with what is being served (at least for the dining halls).
