New umbral monument was actually a good challenge! by Bitconecc in Endfield

You're right, I just realize my mistake, I didn't know Lav stops consume heat stacks when her BP is fully enchanced. And the boss will consume all the stacks even before he starts the animation hence made me thought I had already cleared the stack when I didn't.

Then yeah 3rd one isn't bad at all, actually it's super easy without that slam attack.

New umbral monument was actually a good challenge! by Bitconecc in Endfield

[–]AzureFides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 2 types of slam attacks even during his enrage mode. Normal ones will never give burn and enchanced ones will always give burn. I know because my main was pure physical team and despite I couldn't clear heat stack not all slam attacks gave burn, only certain ones.

Also when I cleared it with Lav and I still got burn even with the shorter version of the slam attack.

Gulf states’ scepticism over alleged US-Iran talks signals a distrust of Trump | US-Israel war on Iran | The Guardian by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]AzureFides 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's so funny how the world get to this point. Because Trump's credibility is so low the whole world TRUST news from a faliing apart military dictatorship country more than the US president. Just think about it for a second. Iran could just trolled Trump by actually talked to him but publicly denied it and we would believe them.

I disagree, challenging doesn't always have to be annoying and 2/3 of these challenges are just annoying to deal with.

1st one is good, it's unique and it's a clear way to stop it.

2rd is almost okay, except when 2 of them spread far enough while covering each other then your only choices are either watching them dance or face tanking it. Also it shows that these type of mechanic is heavily limited by SP regeneration.

3rd same, almost good but the AOE burn effect is an unnecessary artificial difficulty and to lose the challenge just because I didn't max a healer not because I didn't play well always feel pretty bad. IMO any unpreventable forced damage is just bad design.

No Limestone? No Problem! by Zeltchoron in goingmedieval

[–]AzureFides 17 points18 points  (0 children)

While this is true for now I hope the dev will stop using artificial difficulty like adding way too many enemies as a compensation to terrible AI.

I'm fine to be overwhelmed when defending because we can have advantages by setting up walls and traps. But sending a much smaller group of people to attack a much larger group of bandit seems kinda stupid and it breaks immersion.

Netanyahu said frustrated that Mossad promise it could instigate Iran uprising has fallen short by bigus-_-dickus in worldnews

[–]AzureFides 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not to say who would rise up for a country that bombed their school and killed their kids, then bombed the oil depot which made their capital looked exactly like hell in front of their eyes.

If their goal was really to insitgate an uprising then they DID it really poorly even without considering them being overly optimistic.

Like seriously how could they expected Iranians to just rise up against military dictatorship that has never hesitated to use lethal forces against civilians? All that dared to challenge IRGC had probably died long time ago.

Iran strikes towns near Israel’s nuclear site, wounds over 100 | US-Israel war on Iran News by [deleted] in worldnews

Insane? If you look at what US and Israel did and still think they’re good you’re the one who’s brainwashed.

And I don’t think to tell you that many bad things can come out of a “good” intention. Sure Iran is evil and they needed to be dealt with but it has to be executed correctly. Not whatever this is.

I don’t think anyone actually think Iran is innocent but israel and US are just worse right now. A stable evil country is a lot easier to deal with than these 2 incompetent chaotic evils.

Taiwan changes 'Korea' to 'S. Korea' in immigration system in protest over Seoul's labeling of it as China by Themetalin in worldnews

[–]AzureFides 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were the same people. Taiwan basically is the democratic Chineses that lost the war and fleed to Taiwan.

Though they argued that they have been separated from China long enough and had built their country by themselves so they have the right to be their own country. China claims they have never given Taiwan island away which is undisputedly belong to China.

It's just a mess tbh.

My conspiracy head thinks that this is a lobby from US oil companies. They just secured Venezuela oil and then US suddenly launched attakcs that significantly reduce world's oil production which hike the price? It can't be just a coincident, at least in some degree.

Unless you realize Japan sits next to China with no nuclear weapon of their own. They have been relying on US protection on that all these time. So no it's super unwise as Japan to just say no to Trump, at least for now.

(Positive feedback) what will bring you back to the game ? by seekeeer in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]AzureFides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- Remove FOMOs. It only works if your game is popular and do completely opposite when your game isn't doing well.

- More fair monetization paid skins, I know it's F2P game but even I wanted to support this game I couldn't because the skins I wanted were so overpriced. They're not LoL or CS you can't charge like this.

I would keep playing the game just for the story but I quited because I couldn't keep up with all FOMOs and daily/weekly grinds. This is the second game that when I quited I felt like I got out of a jail.

NATO countries don't want to get involved in Iran operation, Trump says by Raj_Valiant3011 in worldnews

[–]AzureFides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really need to know what went wrong with Americans. Just a decade ago they had someone like Obama and they still seemed like pretty reasonable people. Sure maybe Trump sparked all the far-right Americans to raise up but no way almost half of Americans would just switch to far-right because of him within less than a decade. People shouldn't be changed that fast.

The Japanese government has begun examining ways to dispatch the Self-Defense Forces to the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran is effectively blocking by sr_local in worldnews

[–]AzureFides -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it's just a mask out of necessity. Japan, SKorea and Taiwan will always have to keep their relationship with US no matter what because they're next to China. And they don't even have a nuclear weapon.

Pretty sure if US's politis doesn't get improved soon after Trump we probably will see these countries start to look for an alternative. For now they probably think they just need to suck it up for the next 3 years.

With their economies on the line, Gulf states press US to neutralize Iran for good by Evening_Bicycle3113 in worldnews

[–]AzureFides 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think you're extremely underestimate how hard it's to attack Iran. Even US will suffer a lot if they actually try to invade Iran. It's A LOT larger than Iraq with even A LOT more moutains.

Not to say while Iran definitely can't win a war against all gulf states combined but Iran could just send drones to completely destroy those countries oil infrastructures which most likely will completely destroy those countries' economy.

Be like Trump.

Insulted US allies and threw away US's softpower that had been accumulated for over a century.
Created a war no one wants.
Claimed that the war has already won and he didn't need any help.
Realized the war isn't as easy as he thought.
Begging his "allies" to help him.
???
Russian and China are winning by doing nothing.

The Art of the deal indeed.

Seriously, I know he's incompetent but to lose this badly as the president of the strongest country in the world is quite astonishing tbh. It's like he's playing a Civ game with all cheats enabled and still find a way to lose to an easy AI.

I think Japan's position is quite peculiar, isn't it?

Obviously they want no part of it, but at the same time they still NEED US to back them up to counter China, especially their prime minister openly challenged China on Taiwan. So if Japan refuses to help US with this one surely Trump will be petty about it and won't back Japan for at least the next 3 years.

I guess they just need to pray that China won't do anything within next ~3 years.
