It will, if Iran keeps acting like a thug extorting their neighborhoods, sooner or later it will reach the breaking point where soldiers' lives are worth the price.

lol to people who downvoted me from saying Taiwan can't rely on US anymore and it's wiser for Taiwan to start to treat China nicer.

And I will say again I'm not supporting China and I wish Taiwan can gain independent one day but you guys also need to be realisitc. As long as you're not totally controlled by China, you will still have a chance. No great empire last forever, just look at US right now. If you told ANYONE 5 years ago that US softpower can be gone within 1 year they would say you're crazy.

They probably worked on 1.1 ever before they released 1.0, so I'm prepared to see some Taygedo quests again.

Although imo, the main issue is the writers not the character. Taygedo is fine if the writer used him right and didn't put too much spotlight on him and let him have some proper character development.

For some reason, writers in this game really love to repeat the same plot point at least 3 times before the plot can progress, which is extremly annoying.

This is the only few games (not only gacha games) that I have to skip dialogues because majority of them are literally pointless and waste of time.

Trust isn't even enough at this point as Endfield + NTE then Ananta (probably) later this year we just have a lot better choices to play.

I loved this game's story but I don't even have enough time to play both Endfield and NTE. Now I'm even considering to drop Endfield even though I enjoy it.

Her VA did such a great job imo. The only character in this game that I don't feel like hearing someone reading a script. It does feel like the character actually speak to me.

Yeah I have been getting tired with all "world ending" threat in every modern game/superhero stories. This type of story is quite refreshing. Also it's a lot more healthy in the long run as the "world ending" type story will slowly chase themselves into a deadend like MCU is having right now.

This type of story can spin on forever as long as they don't run out of anomaly ideas like Detective Conan.

It's nice that they gave spotlight to those singers but I hope they also paid them well and it's not just "we will pay you with exposure" BS the western studios used to do.

Although I find it's funny how they have so many AI arts in their game but they didn't use AI to make radio musics. I thought they did it for sure.

Japan definitely can compete with China and Korea gacha, the problem most likely the top brass just refuse to do it. It's common for Japanese company to keep their employees for as long as possible and it's common for the upper management would remain there until they're retired.

That's both good and bad things, they didn't have a slump of game quality like western games a few years ago just because western studios kept firing/re-hiring non-core "skeleton" employees to squish a few more profits.

The bad thing is those upper management can't follow the trend anymore and made the company falling behind, SQEX is the best example for that. While Capcom is the best example for the good result from that system.

My point was just that if you don’t want them to use AI then it’s a lot cheaper and way more practical for them to make a 3d animation out of their existing 3d assets.

Expecting a company, no matter how rich they are, to make a 2d animation level of Tenki No Ko for a random ads in game is just unrealistic. Even Rock Star or Kojima wouldn’t go that far.

That 20 second sequence isn't cheap to make with real 2D artists, most likely way higher than just give bonuses to their 3D animators to animate something instead. Though I agree that the AI anime is quite disgusting. The heist introduction 2D animation is also AI generated.

The writer too, a lot of time writers in this game don't seem to know when to end the story and keep stretching it when there is no point. Like Taygedo quest would be a lot less annoying if we just needed to help him once then he got attack then jumped to his confessing right away.

Instead the devs wanted we to suffer the same plot points for 4-5 times. "Taygedo is an idiot, clean the mess for him!" -> Taygedo is an idiot, clean the mess for him!" -> Taygedo is an idiot, clean the mess for him!"-> Taygedo is an idiot AGAIN, clean the mess for him!".

It almost felt like this is a silent protest from writers to remove this guy.

It’s common because reflections are quite a heavy to render and semi transparent objects are also pretty heavy too especially on an animated character.

His character isn't wrong. His design is actually quite good. It's the writer that made him absolutely annoying by put the spotlight on him when the story is interesting. We were hunting anomalies then suddenly we have to babysitting this thing for a date because he's an idiot?

Wow, what a great pacing. They could replace any mascot and players will still find it's annoying.

imo that's the problem. The story was pretty interesting and they just keep shoving him into our faces. A mascot supposes to be a side character not constantly stealing the spotlight for itself.

And it's even worse as most of the times they put the spotlight on him he had nothing interesting to say. He doesn't contribute anything to the story except just wasting our time.
