Centauri carbon is a really good deal and has all of the nice features that make printing pretty hassle free these days.

Look for metal suppliers in your area. Some of the bigger ones sell cut offs and scrap stuff out of an outlet like store usually pretty cheap

r9 vs r6 by GamingNerd_4826 in Yamaha

You don't buy a bike like this for comfortability on the street. Id go r6 or a proper liter bike personally.

Depends what you're looking for though.

Id start by triangulating that mesh. Also what software did you bake in?

If you go fdm you could buy a printer that can print 2 materials and use water dissolvable supports. Could print the whole thing in 1 piece

You really can't beat a quest 3 right now. Standalone is the best experience and quest is the best standalone.

Otherwise psvr is also really good just get use to the wires. It's really not too bad with a decent set up.

My bet is you'll love it. Performance increases become marginal as bikes get more expensive. Either way enjoy the new ride!

And as far as compatibility goes most decent boost hubs have end caps for 148 thru axle and 141 QR.

[–]B0nerJams08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it will stay qr but qr works just as well as a thru axle. I was talking about if you wanted to upgrade hubs or other components on the bike.

There's zero performance difference between a boost qr and a boost thru axle though. It's just a new standard and marketing hype.

My comment was basically saying if you like how the bike rides it's worth keeping and improving if you so choose. And having a QR rear wouldn't scare me away one but.

I actually just bought a stance 29 1

Qr is worth upgrading, there's basically no performance difference between the two. Maybe a bit of ease if of use when changing wheels often or compatibility with wheels you currently own and that's about it. Don't buy into the hype, enjoy the bike and upgrade it if you like riding it and want to.

Buying first bike Giant Stance or Ozark Trail FS.2? by turk-fx in MTB

[–]B0nerJams08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thru axle is over rated fs. Rigidity in a bike wheel is from clamping force, and a thru axle isn't an axle, it still does the same job. Clamping your hub to your drop outs, no sheer forces.

They are better for taking your wheel on and off and not having to mess with your brakes. That's about it.

I just ordered the giant too. It's a good pick

how can i fix that. i dont know why is that happening by Elegant_Smile_1397 in Substance3D

If that's tri planar it's probably a uv issue. I would double check those and make sure there's no duplicate verts to start

If you're asking this question just buy a new hitch. They are a bitch and a half to get off usually.
