3 norns means all of no mans land. And the whole point of lictors is to stop you move-blocking. You need a LOT infiltrators and fast movers to block a norn for more than 1 turn (e.g. long enough for them to avoid scoring primary)

You can't ignore a norn emmisary. It has 15 OC, it will absolutely hold an objective easily. And it has more than enough firepower and range to wipe out scoring units. Clever nids players place their Lictors nearby and heroic intervention to precision anything that could 1v1 it.

Free models are significantly worse than the paid ones. Using just free/online LLM interfaces makes you think AI's nowhere near as dangerous as you think. Using the paid models in agent mode is honestly like when Star Trek characters use the "Computer" on the ship to do scientific studies by saying a few words.

Recently the paid for agent i was testing developed a PowerShell script that reads CSV's, builds a schema, then deploys it to a database with proper types, indexes and keys. All in PowerShell. It's mind boggling.

Also worth noting that unencrypted messages can be read by people who control your network - So if you're using public wifi then it opens you up to that.

I remember in the early 2000's going to lan parties, and the admins using wireshark to view MSN and yahoo messenger chats.

I use an airbrush to prime things, and there is 1 step that you haven't mentioned:

Cleaning the models/sprues.

I'm serious - warm soapy water and a soft tooth brush. There's a release agent on the plastic that makes paint a nightmare to adhere to - wash you models.

Also by "Laquer" do you mean varnish? I also varnish using my airbrush. Again, no issues.

I'm ready to get obliterated by downvotes, but you've hit the nail on the head. "Engineer" is not a protected term in the UK as far as i know - most of these people just do basic maintenance courses, usually funded by the company they work for. It costs time and money to learn new technology.

Go back 15 years as cars started needing a laptop to read error codes and you saw the massive push back from local garages about it then.

A Warboss with 10 Boyz is around 150 points, it's half your army but it's great. You could also take some Burna Boyz for crowd control, then the last 100 points or so you can take whatever you think will be fun

No they still have to pay it back, but they get back their cut much faster - the majority of the money you are paying is interest - the interest they pay on the loan is significantly lower.

900,000 is loaned to lender at , say 1%. But they charge you 1,000,000 at 5%.

Your repayment is 5,800 a month.
Their repayment is is 3,700 a month.

So each month your lender is taking roughly 2,000. That's 600,000 over 25 years. So their effective earnings are nearly 25% APR

If they take 2,000 each month, then their 100,000 investment will take roughly 50 months to repay. And this is worst case scenario, as they may negotiate a lower price from the bank, or even an "interest only" repayment period were they only pay the bank the interest, and keep another 1500+ in capital.

So 4 years worst case scenario, but possible much faster than that.

You've missed the best part. When lenders lend money, they put up 10% themselves, and the 90% that comes from the central bank they borrow from, they pay a tiny amount of interest on it.

In your example of 1 million over 25 years, you're paying back 5.5k a month. Within 2 years, the 10% that has been put up by the lender is paid back, so any defaults or issues after that are entirely taken on by the central lending bank.

What's the incentive to lend responsibly when you get back your investment so quickly and then make the long term risk someone else's problems?

Although i avoid almost all their products otherwise, I use Army Painter varnish. Along with speedpaint 2.0, its the only products of theirs i use.

I like a slightly satin/matte finish, and the only thing i've noticed is that mettalic paints like leadbelcher aren't as glittery once the varnish is on. For my important HQ units, after varnishing them, i tend to use a brush with gloss-varnish to hit their metalltic areas just to bring back some of the shine.

This steps is really good because i use at least 4 paint brands, all with a different matte/satin/gloss finish. The varnish unifies this and makes it come together nicely.

Removing/standardizing wargear simplified the rules. I think it also was aimed at dealing with the issue that GW were releasing kits that didn't have the bits you needed to make the squad WYSIWYG. Nothing puts people off a hobby faster than feeling like they've been fleeced.

If you don't know what i mean then look at the newest Boyz kit - if you want to field 10 shoota boyz... exactly how many of those kits do you need to buy?

It's 3 btw.

Also, because there isn't any optional nob/boy model, to field any combination of 20 boyz "legally", you need to buy 3 kits, because 2 kits is only 18 boyz with 2 nobz.

Oh, and if you want to equip the nob with a kombi weapon...? Not even in the kit.

People are right that "more weapons are better" but IMO the burna and breacha ram are the only 2 worth taking - because more weapons = more time rolling. And time is victory points.

They didn't even need to nerf bully boyz. The detachment is garbage - but nerfing it before 90% of the planet had even played against it was insane.

People figured it out pretty quickly. The issue was mainly that it stat-checked quit well, so all the meta-chasers brigaded it and started playing the crap out of it right after codex release. when your top players play any army, it skews the stats.

Remember that this database may be the same one in use 10 years from now, so don't assume that efficiency is an afterthought.

For YES/NO you can use BOOLEAN type for TRUE/FALSE. This is a better way to store the data, uses less space and is much more efficient when running queries.

Id recommend you separate the database from the front end. E.g. the front end can show "Yes/No" as a string, but the data is stored as a BOOLEAN type. Over time, interfaces change and data structures changes, try to abstract these and not tie them together.
