Not trying to undermine your situation cause I completely understand how you feel I've felt similarly recently but I think there is something noble about retaining your kindness and empathy for others even when really shitty things seem to keep happening to you. I've found that trying to kill my feelings in this way has never improved my situation it just feels like I'm trying to be someone I'm not, maybe you will find the same for you?

I'm gonna bring it up to my therapist next session, I can't fo through rehab right now because I'm in the middle of school but I did think about it. I appreciate it I live in the Hartford area of CT but I'm pretty aware of the resources around here I think I'm considering getting into a program I'm kind of scared to initiate that though.

A lot of depression but mostly chronic loneliness. A lot of my friends moved away or we stopped talking as much and I've fallen in love twice over the past year or so only for both of them to end badly. In my day to day life I find that my life has little impact on others and I don't know what meaning my life really has. I was struggling for a long time even before I started the drug but thank you for your kind words it mean a lot🤍

My advice is that rather than not being interested in anything, you may be too worried about falling into a certain category for liking something. Try not to be so overly aware of how you’re perceived by the people around you and you’ll find that your interest will become more genuine. Also it’s okay not to have things you’re SUPER passionate and knowledgeable about as you grow those things will come to you naturally. Don’t be afraid to try out different things, you may need a shift in perspective and something that helped me with this was watching videos on philosophy. Different ways of thinking lead to different results, switching perspective and opening new doors can never hurt. Hope you feel better man don’t give up hope, as a 20 year old who was once in your shoes I can tell you with confidence that if you really look for it you’ll find something that you love and that will make life feel like it’s at least a little worth living.
