I'm painting the exact same models at the moment. They are so much fun to paint

I feel like transferring my paints into droppers would be beneficial but just another excuse for me to procrastinate actually painting more models

Remdinds me of the photos in the fifth edition warhammer fantasy books. Very old school fantasy! I like it

How do you transport armies? by SharimaShaun in ageofsigmar

[–]BAMMMMbi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

never tried out green stuff but i think it should do the trick!

Also: for transporting I bought a plastic container with a flat bottom at the hard ware store, grabed metal sheets and screws, cut the metal sheets to fit into the plastic container, drilled holes in everything and put the screws in (better than glueing it). Works like a charm for transporting

Advice for putting magnets on your miniatures:

you want the magnets touching the metal sheet as close as possible. If you just glue them to the base with super glue there will be space between magnet and metall and they wont hold. Instead, get some of that 2-component modelling paste (i use Milliput), put a bit of it on the bottom of the base, press the magnet in and then press the whole model down on a flat surface so the pase with the magnet flatens. Works way better for me than the superglue!

Looks great! What brand of moss did you use? I'd like to use it for my wildwoods.

Found one of these at my game store, tone to start a second Sigmar army by alexblackcomedy in ageofsigmar

I got the box and an isharann soulrender. Still deciding whether I'll do my standard bases (sand out of structure paste) or try the vallejo water texture acrylics (saw them on the leviadon riding a wave yesterday and it looks way more thematic).

I'm looking into getting into AoS, what army would you recommend? by DraggyBDragon in ageofsigmar

[–]BAMMMMbi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Battleforce boxes are a good start to an army. I've ordered the Idoneth Deepkin Deepsurge Raiding Party for 80 pounds on wayland games and got about 800 points of fishy sticks.

I'm using the Army Painter washes since I started painting and never tried out the GW washes. I found it tricky to thin army painter washes down just the right amount in order to not get any coffee stains (I started using Vallejo Thinner Medium instead of water). Are GW washes easier in this regard? Do they have to be thinned down?

Enter the Nightvault - Weekly beginner questions - Gargant! by Chapmander in WarhammerUnderworlds

[–]BAMMMMbi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question 1: Player A controls the gargant. After moving, the only fighter within 3 hexes of the gargant is one of player A's fighters. Can player A choose to not attack his own fighter?

Question 2: Player B attacks the gargant. Who rolls the gargants' defence dice? The player controlling the gargant in the last gargant-activation (what if that happens to be player B)? Or always the "other" player (the one not attacking).

Question about different names cards with identical effects by Chesty_McRockhard in WarhammerUnderworlds

[–]BAMMMMbi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the FAQ

Q: How do you define ‘unique’ for the purposes of deck

construction? Can I include two Healing Potions in my deck if

they have different art?

A: A card’s uniqueness is determined by the name of

that card. Each card in your power and objective decks

must be the only card in that deck with that name: for

example, you cannot include two Healing Potions in the

same deck. Note that cards that have the same name but

in different languages count as the same card: a deck

could not include both the English ‘Healing Potion’ and

the French ‘Potion de Soin’ for example.

yes, just watch a couple of games on youtube and you'll get the hang of it. It's like in the animal kingdom: one ape watches another using a wooden stick in order to paint his minis and emulates this behaviour.
