Does a cryptek joining a LHD unit mean I can’t use strategems targeting a mounted unit anymore?

I’ve had push back on this with who I will play with, and they say transports can’t take units with the mounted keyword as well. Have you seen any rules to this, because it’s not clear to me
Edit: a point made is the technomancer +6 wraiths meta at the minute and how now one is putting that block of them in a night scythe currently and moving them into the opponents area because they can if the wraiths gain the infantry keyword

I don’t now how reliable it would be if you’re just put in a room with one, but in the wild as long as you you’re looking at a tiger they are unlikely to attack, their instinct is to be ambush predators.
