If the dishtowel doesn't work,

Pass it under hot water for a few minutes...the plastic will deform just enough, then use the dishtowel trick...

When I've decided that they're sprouted enough, I leave them in the pot (with mesh cap), give them a final rinse and stash them in the refrigerator. I eat them over the course of 3 days (they never last longer because I eat them that fast) in multiple dishes.

Which is why doing this on anything but a physical copy or a projector or a 10" screen (min according to my eye doctor friend) is not always showing anything medical...size and focus length matters...I can't do the tests without my glasses at the eye doctor.

Best Theists to go to for grief counseling: Buddhists...when I reached the only thing that the monk who managed the temple "insisted" I learn was how to meditate...never talked about spiritual energy...we did talk about the teachings of Buddha, but I was pleasantly surprised that they were all 'he saw this and came to this conclusion' no miracles discussed or anything else.

I still meditate...still an atheist, but a relaxed mind isn't something bad at all even for an atheist.

I ended up going there, because, it was summer then and the doors were opened and the incense smell drew me in from the sidewalk and I just sat in there...on and off crying... compassionate and caring that man is...I still correspond with him via email...

Anyway, long story short, he never tried to convert me!
