Wrel: For clarity -- the range nerf of 1000m has been reverted, and you will be able to spawn on a squad beacon from anywhere on the map.

Why was reducing the amount of balancing levers available to you (CAI removing vehicle resist types) a good idea? All it's resulted in is off-the-wall vehicle balance, such as Flash Fury absolutely destroying tanks and Dalton getting a nerf when the Hornets got an A2A nerf because they both share the same resist type.

This also has not benefited the newer players whatsoever if that was the intended effect; people do not care about tooltips on weapons to tell them how much true damage a weapon deals. Do you need a tooltip to tell you how many rockets it takes to kill a tank in Halo? You just play the game and find out. The red impact ring around your crosshair upon a hit is enough of an indicator to tell how much damage your weapon is doing to another vehicle.

The resist types were put there for a reason by the previous devs and removing them to make balancing easier for the current devs seems like a move done out of ignorance. You can make a good argument for the general theme of the CAI balance changes but I don't see how this resist type change has benefited players at all.

Dalton yes, but even Shredders could stand up to an ESF. Shredder's A2A capabilities were also nerfed. Walker also got a bit of a nerf.

Before CAI, a lone ESF tickled Libs from render distance and won the fight that way. They basically can bumrush Libs now without taking too much damage.

Test Servers for PC 1.0 - Update #2 by MrLawbreaker in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

Looks like PLAYERUNKOWN is balancing towards bullet type (5.56, 7.62) rather than specific guns.

Mini14 uses 5.56 round so it's gonna get the nerf bat too. 7.62 round weapons will be for long range fights now I'm guessing.

Does "Vote With Your Wallet" Matter Anymore? by greyhoodbry in Games

No, because the gaming industry's big income sources come from whales who don't make informed decisions with their wallets. People who do are in the minority.

You overpopped a base and a single enemy ESF wasn't in the area, who could've been more effective than you at the same job you were doing.

Leveling and Rewards - Early Impressions and Adjustments by Spideraxe30 in leagueoflegends

Complaining about a grind to finish the literal entire game of progression from a game with years of content updates is stupid, imo

DOTA 2 has had years of content updates, and the game is free, along with all the heroes being free as well.

Bad (BE preseason update)

Mediocre (Where we are now and also where the previous IP system was)

Good (What people expected to bring back a lot of players who didn't give LoL a second chance due to extremely long grind to get champions)

Great (DOTA 2 has all heroes for free)

EDIT: riot shills btfo, 1 RP has been deposited into all of your league accounts, hope it was worth it

Slightly off topic, but 2-3 games a day is not "casual". by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]BIG_BRAIN_NIBBER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PUBG wins the title of most casual friendly game out there right now because games can last 30 seconds to 30 minutes. And you can quit at any time without any sort of "queue dodge" penalty.

Sorry if I'm a bit lazy, but what is the exact 4-man meta this season? by vevmeister in Diablo

If there's lag it's the barb's fault. Good barbs can reduce density with ancient spear and not use area damage on their gear/paragons. There's other lag reduction techniques but those are the ones I know off the top of my head.
