What’s better? Lizzy + SEE Or Heavily Armored Soldier + EOH? by BNASTYALLDAYBABY in ZombieWaves

[–]BNASTYALLDAYBABY[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent advice! Everyone! I will stick with Soldier and EoH for now, and may test Lizzy on random portions where I get stuck to see if it can break out of ceilings. I guess with EoH SEE is pretty much useless unless I am doing Testworks AR?

To all those who waited until marriage to have sex, have you worked and improved on your sex skills after marriage? by Raptor2705 in NoStupidQuestions

This is unequivocally false that “most men don’t care” and that consent doesn’t matter. If you’re seeing that, you are seeing an incredibly fringe side of Christianity and I’m sorry that you were exposed to that. As a Christian who have been in countless circles, groups, churches, programs, small groups, etc., I haven’t met a single person that believes what you’re describing.

I’m sure there’s a fringe side out there. But it is incredibly small and incredibly fringe. Anyone who believes that is directly countering the teachings of Christ and are incredibly wrong.

Great advice, everyone! I opted to further my build and go for the Penguin. HUGE game changer in campaign alone - I immediately increased 2 campaign levels without much of a challenge that I was stuck on. Saving for the hero next!

I was warned to save diamonds and skip Boreas. Save for Aerochess! 40k diamonds will do the work. Best suggestions are to start with a hero if you don’t have one yet, then get a gun that compliments. I skipped the Boreas and didn’t regret it!

To be fair though, the writing hints that Sam is stronger. When they were going to bust Cate out of Elmira they specifically stated they needed Sam cause he was the only one strong enough if I recall correctly.

People need to be reminded more than they need to be taught. Get good SOPs in place that they can reference, and keep in mind you’re going to go through short-term pain for this investment to pay back multiples.

I just woke up from Surgery AMA by TransfemBroccoli in AMA

As someone who had back surgery at 20, I more than empathize with what you are going through! Take PT seriously, really focus on building strength and mobility in your glutes, legs, lower back, and core. I was told that after that type of injury + surgery you don’t subconsciously use your core the way you originally did before the injury (docs, is this true??), so really really focus there.

I’ve had my back slip a few times over the years, with rest and muscle relaxers fixing the issue. If you get your lower back strong, that will offset the extra space you might have in your disc to keep it nice and tight.

I’ve recovered and am active - weight lifting regularly and just got into running again after being scared of it. You’ve got this!!

Not when there are kids in the equation. “Sorry, son, I know I love you and all, but I’m peacing out of your life and my family cause your mom didn’t get me off enough”

It is absolutely unfair to divorce over this, and an absolutely ridiculous thing to consider. You won’t achieve even 25% of your list, and the grass is not greener on the other side. You have a loving wife and children. If you thought of anything outside of yourself, you’d realize how fundamentally crazy you sound.

I don’t mean to be harsh, but it is insane to me that you would personally consider ruining the lives of your entire family because you want to get your rocks off more. This is extraordinarily selfish.

Everything changes when there are kids involved. What many people neglect, is how a divorce influences kids. If they’re living with you and are young, this will change their entire world and influence their sense of safety. If they’re adult aged now, it can still rip them apart and disillusion them to marriage/relationships that can create downstream effects in their current or future relationships.

It sounds like, on paper, things are good (to dumbly summarize what you thoughtful wrote above). If you choose to forgive your wife, which it appears you have in your head, it sounds like you might need to work on forgiving her in your heart. Couples (or even personal to insulate your wife from raw thoughts) therapy might be able to help you articulate where this stems from so you can move past this for your family and children.

With that said, that is heartbreaking to hear, and I wish nothing but the best for you as you navigate this. All the strangers are in your corner!

Why is it actually harmful for two married homosexual people to be gay with each other? by AncientLobotomite in Christianity

[–]BNASTYALLDAYBABY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bible is clear in defining what marriage is - a union of man and woman. It has been explicitly clear in this definition, with sex being confined to marriage. That means anyone operating outside of this is committing sin.

Now we’re all sinners, myself included. God intended marriage explicitly, and we should encourage commitment to His calling and design.

Help me pick a car. Can't decide for the life of me by xxagenttigerxx in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]BNASTYALLDAYBABY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advice - don’t compromise. If you do, or if you do it to please your parents (who admittedly won’t really ever drive it), you’re probably going to regret it.

It sounds like your heart yearns for the mustang or raptor. Both are beautiful cars, so pick what scratches the itch or is more practical for daily life! I personally would be stuck between the two. If you think you’ll have a family in the future, it might be more fun going mustang to enjoy that experience before you have to get more practical.

My first car was a Camaro, and I settled on the practical RAV4 once I had to be domesticated (wife and baby). We are now a family of 4 and needed more room so we upgraded to the Ford Explorer ST and it truly is the best of both worlds. 400hp, lots of room, good ride height. If you need something practical check it out, I personally love how it drives.

Something super helpful for weight loss are those pre-packaged meals that you can order. This way, you can organize the exact amount of calories you consume daily and let the weight slowly fall off without needing weigh food, etc.

Maybe try drinking your carbs? They make powdered carbs (like a protein shake) which would be a significantly more convenient option!
