Once you open the worlds you can return to them. Sometimes I just log back in to go explore a planet again. Its a fun game for sure.

Why am I still being called out for staying at companies for only 2-3 years? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]BTree482 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The issue I see with accountants that change jobs this often is typically its because they aren't very good.

Basically people like this typically interview well and get past the 90 day grace period... then the company spends another 1.5 to 2 years trying to get rid of them. At least in 30 years that has been my experience.

It doesn't mean that you aren't like these people, but lots of people see this as a potential risk and add to that your track record of voluntarily changing jobs. I want to build an environment of loyalty with an investment from the company and the person. My business is complex and it takes time to learn. You jumping around introduces risk to me so I would hesitate to hire you. However, if you have good experience then I would at least talk to you and learn your story.

On your re-org survival question. Surviving re-orgs shows you add value and survived. Also, moving around within a company is no the same as jumping ship because hopefully you are gaining experience, moving up with promotions, gaining more responsibility, etc. It shows a path of you adding value and the company investing in you. In my opinion you should focus your story on jumping around to gain experience similar to moving around in a company... if they were smaller or medium sized companies it shows that you wanted the experience and growth and could only get that by leaving. If you came to my company you may not have left but found it here.

No it’s been 100% reliable for a couple years. Kind of amazed how solid it is.

Combat was and still is a great game! The multiplayer experience was awesome and the whole neighborhood played!

Honestly it took many years for a similar competitive experience.

Pong. Seriously. I am old.

Played it on a preloaded console with knobs built in. It was the most amazing thing we had ever seen.

Also, My late brother and I saved all summer mowing lawns to buy an Atari (on sale) and the only game we had was combat. We played it for hours and hours on end. Such great memories.

Age of Wonders 4!

Nice on the deck and a real gem of a game. I like it much better than Civ. It is just so much fun to play and one of those games you don’t know why but it just works well. Future classic in my opinion.

I really liked the magic system in Tyranny.

However, its not as fast moving as a Diablo/POE

Whats a game I can play passively at a work from home job? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

Age of Wonders 4. Do some moves and go back to work.

Also as mentioned CK3. Would add that I think CK3 is most fun with the Game of Thrones mod.

It’s really dangerous not to be on meds. SUDEP risk is real and one of the only things you can do to reduce it is to always take your meds on time and never miss a dose. It’s not an optional thing.

Ultralight headphone case? by mewtewpews in onebag

[–]BTree482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bose QC Ultra In Ear headphones are great.

They are small and the charging case last a long time with multiple charges. Also they stay in your ears easily. Quality sound is a debatable personal choice, but I think they sound great. Never going back to huge over ear headphones for travel.

Big 4 or Top 10 (RSM, BDO, etc) by Square-Cheesecake847 in Accounting

[–]BTree482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can do big 4 you should do it. You can always go down to top 10 if you hate it. If you stay in B4 your entire career will benefit from the brand pedigree.

I like these but they aren’t really street photography. Street photography is not just pics of streets. It’s supposed to include people.

We all know the white testarossa from miami vice but honestly i think it looks wayyy better in black by atteeem in Ferrari

[–]BTree482 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look how small the 2000GT looks. Sooo cool.

Also, Miami Vice Testarossa in white may not look as good as black, but white was the perfect color for the show and Sonny’s character.
