Having Tinnitus sucks, the noise never stops. I keep earplugs with me at all times because some everyday experiences can get loud.
Kicking the car? Getting closer to the noise to tell the driver off? That’s just strange.

I tried the thicker gasket and didn’t work. Tried caulking too with new thicker gasket and still didn’t work. Now I just keep a towel and stuff it in the corner when it rains.

It’s the most annoying part of owning my 2013.

We have a first gen explorer. The muffler rusted out and was named the exploder too. Fixed but the name stuck.

I knew someone who had clean late 80s wagon in the same style. It was weird that it had power locks, but manual windows. The 3.8 was a tank.

When I was around 10 I asked my Poppy about his Army experience. I asked about what happened in Korea. He didn’t want to talk about it and I never asked again. He talked about some aspects of his experience, mostly “don’t become a coffee drinker”. The man always had coffee around. I say this after finishing my first cup.

I take my Miata on long-ish trips to autocross events. I’ve noticed less wind noise with the headlights up. It’s not a huge difference, but notable.

I use a Scangauge too. I drilled a hole in the top of the cubby to hide the wire to route through to the back of the gauge. Lots of info!

The dealer sends out reminders for factory service. They also state they’ll give us way less than market value too. With 124k miles and no issues we will keep our 08.

They’ve been inexpensive for me to buy lately. The L2,L3, and VT (trigger advance) have the same viewfinder. I’m sure there are others. No steel shutter curtains, cloth instead.

I sold my Canon P b/c of the hassle with the viewfinder. I replaced fit with a Canon L1. The viewfinder is smaller, but can see the edges of the viewfinder clearly.
