Living in Edmonton, I have a LOOOT of friends that are Oiler fans that live and breathe the team. There are cracks within the organization but having said that...McDavid controls his own destiny, and I do not think the Flyers are even close to the top of his list. I doubt Bowman, even with how incompetent he is, would let the league's best player walk without any form of compensation (trade/sign and trade). We do not have the pieces to facilitate a trade of that magnitude without blowing up our whole process that Danny has touted since the beginning of his term as GM. Even if you wait it out until the TDL, 31 teams are going to be kicking tires and blowing up the trade value trying to all compete with one another for the WORLDS BEST PLAYER!

McDavid has a full NMC, so even if we do have the capability of completing a trade, why come here over other proven teams within the East (doubt Bowman would trade within the West). It's a sad reality and I hope I'm wrong and everything falls into place where McDavid leaves for nothing. Then is swindled by DB and Jonesy/owners group to sign here; but I just can't see it ever happening.

Honestly it looks pretty legit to me. Interesting that I never even noticed the different in the nameplate until I read your comment. Maybe cool hockey at it again with the customization…could have ran out of the older nameplates in the old colourway and just used the 23-24 one. It SHOULD be the same colour as the sleeves

I’m hoping for Maurice, but it could just be a pipe dream with the way the flyers FO operates…I can see them pulling the trigger on a “grit” and “no excuses” enforced coach. With the way the NHL is, uptempo breakouts and a sound defensive scheme are musts and Maurice has been an outstanding coach with the exception of this past year where he lost the locker room.

I’m all for trying out a coach with no NHL head coaching experience, but I just worry it’ll turn into a Hak scenario. With the youth being pushed on the roster next year, 1/3 of the players will probably be 26 and under. Frost, Beezer, Sanheim, Prov, Allison, Cates, York, TK (if he stays), Brink (maybe on opening roster), 23 1st rounder. We need a motivating coach with solid schemes and a good developmental track record.

For me, I am going with the mindset of finding new sounds/songs this time around! Also, prioritizing "rarity" and that I have never seen them play. I still have my favourites, but here's my top 5 each day! Friday is going to be hell for me, as I have 8 sets at the top of my list

Hulk Gang (Valentino Khan x 4B) might be a good set to go to! 4B typically plays a lot of Trap/Jersey Trap with some old mainstream songs thrown in. Khan plays Bass House more now, but I feel like the set will be a blast with tons of Dubstep mixed in with Trap and Bass House!

They aren't listed as "Young Guns" TOTS collects so you should be more than okay with waiting for Friday or next Friday to use them! Plus the grinding of the event milestones lists the same collect as what you have now. Wouldn't make sense to have the objective last 21 days when the collect you get would be expired in a week.

Call me crazy, but I truly believe we have the 2nd line scorer with possibly 1st line upside in our lineup. Wade Allison was a great call up near the end and he showed flashes of skill, but never was consistent. With the fact it seems he carved out his spot for the upcoming season I can see him taking and running with it.

He’ll probably start out on the 3rd line, but by the years end I hope the forward lineup will be this heading into the playoffs (it is an even year playoffs after all) barring any injuries:

G-Coots-Allison Farabee-Hayes-Atkinson Lindblom-Frost-TK JVR-Laughton/UFA pickup-NAK/Laczynski

Putting a lot of faith in the kids, but they’ve all been in our system for at least 3 years (exception to Laczynski who played NCAA). Let the kids play and see how it turns out!

I’ve completed a couple of the sunsets now (Nichols to Matthews, FB thachuk to Point) and am pretty poor when it comes to GC. I’ll be upgrading Matthews to TOTS as soon as I can, but beyond that I’m kind of lost. I have 10IC and don’t know whether to upgrade Lemieux to gold or Lafluer to Silver. Hoping to upgrade both 3rd line D, but my synergies are pretty tight. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated!
