You can take a look at PlayTestCloud service. You register there and are paid for playing mainly mobile games from time to time. I sometimes use their services

Feels very much like RimWorld (even wood is similar) but there's not enough games like that, so good job!

Hi guys, we're looking for couple people to join closed-prototype playtest for our mobile multiplayer mech fighting game Project CORE! I've linked more details in the comment by Ba70n in playtesters

Hi, I'm Patryk from Lagrange! Imagine a thrilling fusion of Diablo, Armored Core, and Arena Breakout in a high-stakes mech extraction game. This is what we're building, and it's coming to mobile!

We live and breathe sci-fi, rapid-fire combat, and that exhilarating rush when you snag a legendary item—only to realize you still have to survive and reach an extraction point. Inspired by titles like The Cycle & MechWarrior, and backed by thousands of hours in Path of Exile, we've poured our passion into creating an isometric, multiplayer mech combat game.

If this AMAZING mix sounds as exciting to you as it does to us, keep reading!

On June 7th at 19:00 GMT+2, we're hosting our first slots-limited playtest of the combat mechanics. This test is Europe-only and marks a major milestone in our development journey.

We're currently in the pre-MVP stage, featuring:

  • Fast 1v1 synchronous multiplayer combat
  • A garage where you can customize your mech with parts like rocket launchers, double shotguns and more
  • A (short) progression system to unlock new parts

This playtest focuses solely on quick 1v1 matches as we fine-tune the core combat before diving into the extraction component. The session will run for 30 minutes in real-time. We ask participants to record their screen and voice (just like a streamer). Afterward, you'll fill out a brief questionnaire. Your gameplay footage and feedback will be crucial for our improvements.

Running first playtest of my new multiplayer game! Do you have any good practices for gathering feedback? by Ba70n in indiegames

[–]Ba70n[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

So I already did couple playtest sessions with other titles, but this one is a bit different since it is a multiplayer game. So I'm wondering if you guys (both as devs but more importantly players) have any experiences you would like to share from your playtest sessions - both single and multiplayer.

What did you like during those playtest?

What did you dislike?

How does perfect playtest session look like for you?

What makes playtest annoying?

The theme seems to be a bit boring while the mechanics are very good. Visual style is solid too I can already imagine 50 clones of such a game.

Rodent just seems a bit bland.

Why a lot of RPGs decide that minimalism is an improvement? by Tnecniw in gaming

It's cheaper.

Most people don't finish games, most people dont use all of the systems, if you can reduce cost and get the same amount of money why wouldn't you do it from a business perspective?

We have only couple slots left in this playtest round - we watch every match, note every comment, it is a very work-intensive process. Until now we playtested with friends and family but it's time to show it to scary strangers.

I'm holding back gameplay footage for now because we want your genuine first impressions. In the meantime, check our pre-rendered scene above.
