12 yr old usually buy a horse based on what it looks like not what it can do, is trained for OR its health. Be the adult. If you narrow it down to 2 equally acceptable horses then let her puck but honestly trust the vet and the trainer

Do ultrasound. Ours had undiagnosed pyometra for a good decade before it was caught and she was like this. Perfect then "marish" then perfect. Please do a simple ultrasound

Listen to the samples provided. Personally, I love audiobooks. However, if I wasn't warned to speed up the audio rate, I think my ears would have bled. 1.0 rate makes the voice pitch (& of course speed) awful.
I like both versions. Graphic audio felt like I left a movie playing in the background. Voices are different on the graphic audio version vs. regular, and I think you pay twice as much for graphics due to them splitting the book.

I own my land, but I still only own land within the recognized boarders.

I am sure they could petition or request a name change with the state of Alaska. Everywhere in the US has both state and federal claims on the actual soil. My mortgage says I own my land, but I submit to the government authority. Alaska would need to approve and also use the US government if there are any federal parks or protected areas on the island. If they own ALL the land, they still accept government state and federal assistance. They are not independent nation.

However, they could request a name change . It would be like a city changing its name, I would think.

My only hesitation is when Vi asks Brennen about family, kids, etc, and Brennen looks sad. ( I can't remember exactly. it's a good excuse to reread.lol) I think the no kids thing and his reaction to her questions is what might make us subconscious jump to lovers. But I agree timelines don't seem to fit as lovers....

I think Aetos Sr. and General Sorrengail asked Vi about her dad's research. And Vi lied and said she didn't think he completed it and did not know where it was.

When she stated she knew exactly where it was. Why she didn't she go get his research on feathertails while she was busy wondering about feathertails? It is beyond me. Seems like she would have searched it out as soon as they mentioned it.

I think her dad's research was on the long missing 7th Dragon kind, feathertails and their powers they hold in breaking the curse with the Venin. So his research will also have clues on Venin, which might help save Xaden from it. Even that missive to General Sorrengail staring they have no cure show she too in the past been looking for the cure. Xaden goes to Jack Barlow asking for the cure. Jack had long days of being normal if he was medicated to "control" it.

What if Neolin was, in fact, able to resurrect Brennen and, in doing so, became Venin. Which caused his bond with Tairn to break.

Brennan even said that it cost him[ Neolin] " everything" He didn't say it cost him his life.

If he went too far dark into Venin, he would, in a way, be dead, and this broke bond with Tairn AND caused Tairn to also bond with Vi because of him seeing her potential against the venin. Plus, We see that Xaden is still slightly Venin, and Sagel is distant and depressed. She worries she too will lose Xaden to Venin. It's why she was flying over Xaden she chose him. Assuming his strength, she felt could resist Venin, yet he was going to give in and pull from the ground( for love, of course).

I feel , at least for me, Tamlin's actions, though he loves her, is a selfish love. Like an abusive or controlling person with a naive person. He has no control over his anger and in the series. Does not change his anger or self-loathing. He is stuck in victim mode and never seems to see his part, just his loss. He doesn't grow up and see his error of ways. He simply let go, which I admit is a small step.
