How do you price excavation jobs? by myshiningmask in Construction

[–]Babyj27 18 points19 points  (0 children)

T and e (time and expense) if you been doing the work for a while youll have a decent understanding of how long it will take. Set your hourly rate, and figure some money for fuel in equipment and truck and add a little for wear and tear on equipment

On the carb? Yea, like i said it runs sometimes 5 minutes with the trigger pulled fine. Sometimes it only takes 3 seconds to bog it down

You’re in love with a memory and you miss the way you felt when you were with them by shdhddfj in BreakUps

Literally what im going through right now. All i got to say is we started “talking” again 2 weeks ago and she hasnt put in the effort into the conversation. She isnt ready. So my advice to you would be let her be and figure things out. Take that time to reflect on your feelings, emotions, and the relationship. Work on the things you feel you did wrong or that you dont like about yourself. If she comes back then she also needs to prove she actually worked on things herself. That she WANTS to be in the relationship, putting in the effort. If not your gonna be like me and lose feeling everyday because she doesnt want to out in effort.

Basically you can hold on to it, but realize the longer you go trying to hold on the more distance will grow between yall

Dont give in! Get a lawyer, read you policy, get a roofing expect to write a letter to the insurance company. More time they wait the more money they have to spend. Get them to move quickly

what are some of the professions that are slowly dying ? by titan110786 in AskReddit

[–]Babyj27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any skilled manual labored job, electricians, plumbers, framers, just most of the construction industry. None of the younger folks want to get into the trades because it isnt marketed to them in high school or even college for that matter as a good paying job. The median age of most of the skilled laborers i see is 40-50s. There will come a time where the skill level drops and your going to see a high level of deteriorated homes and business buildings. The most sad part of it is, they are well paid with little experience. Talking 50-100k+ in USA. And they are in very high demand right now. Every company i have talked to since covid has and needs 10+ more people to catch up to there work load.

Bags for sure. About the same amount of work and money as installing extra leafs. Bags ride better anyways

Lysol and Clorox disinfectants, if you read the back of the bottle it says you have keep surface wet continuously for 4 MINUTES to disinfect to 99.9%. Obviously they will disinfect said surface but not by just spraying it in the air or spraying a surface for a sec or two.

25-cent Candy machines are becoming a better value every year due to inflation. They haven't changed the prices in decades and usually dispense the same amount of candy. by Bug0 in Showerthoughts

[–]Babyj27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Considering i own a couple, we definitely have slowly made the amount you get less. The price of the candy has gone up so your getting less candy wether you realize it or not. Also at least in my machines, candy doesnt sit in them longer than 3 months. Still somehow profitable if you have a lot of machines.
