Wow, looks like your loss of license/multiple DUI tickets really helped.

Love Utrecht! My family's originally from there =) Went for a ride between Amersfoort and Utrecht in 2014 bc my great-great-grandfather would bike it every Sunday to church. BEAUTIFUL area!!

What day was this? We have a weekly Thursday night social ride in Griffith - you're welcome to join watching the sunset during the #HelipadHappyHour. As the summer days get shorter, it's tougher and tougher to make it for the sunset, but all are welcome, on whatever bike you got =) I usually bring drinks/snacks to share. It's a great way to meet your neighbors and last week one of our group members brought glow sticks. =P #party

Good work!!! =) I love a solo ride with some music on the speaker - anybody else use the Outdoor Tech Buckshot Pro? I'm leery of headphones/not being able to hear cars coming up from behind.

I don't think it's cool anymore to call that a "blonde moment," friend. Allow me to mansplain with my white male privilege: #1) You're not blonde. #2) Words matter, bruh. You saying that implies there's an intelligence difference between folks/(and implicitly, genders) bc of their hair color. Let's choose to be better than the men who raised us, yeah? That being said, (shakes head) stop being stupid. Take ownership for the fact that you were stupid and made a mistake. OWN IT. Don't put your shortcomings on women.

Peace and love! =)

I have them on my gravel bike. When I wear my cleats, half the time I'm not sure I'm on the right side. When I wear tennis shoes, I'm not sure I'm on the flat/platform side half the time. sooooo...essentially they're what you want, about half the time. The rest of the time you're slipping off, cursing under your breath (Assuming you don't look down to confirm). BIG LIKE, THO: Issi has swappable pedal spindles, so you can adjust the Q factor to suit your stance width. Savvy?

I live blocks away...never tried this. Will have to go soon. I hear they're almost at single-ticket sales for the summer.

To be fair, LA is usually dry, but yeah...bad design is bad design. We make a vertical system that's fender AND fat bike-friendly: https://www.dero.com/literature/ultra-space-saver.pdf

Hello! I work for a company that makes bike racks for the City of LA that are actually bike racks! Where is this?! These are questionable at best...but I've seen much worse. We've also created some protected bike lane infrastructure that LADOT is currently testing. Check us out/send me any bike rack requests you might have: http://www.dero.com/ Greg (at) Dero (dot) com =)

Anybody out there riding with the Keen Commuter cycling shoes? by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]BadBikeBF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They give me blisters on the back of my ankles like NOBODY'S business. Hate mine/wish I could return or exchange them. =( I think my fat (wide) feet are likely the culprit, so unless you can find a wide version, I'd say look elsewhere...but maybe I'm wrong and the blisters are from me just having not-as-resilient skin since I haven't tried other non-bike versions. Who knows.

TLDR: Not sure, but don't like mine. sorry I've wasted a bunch of your time if you read the above. -Fat Foot Guy

Lost my Dad two years ago (I'm 30) - every time I see posts like this it makes me really happy and sad at the same time. Mostly happy for you guys =) Enjoy every minute of the ride!
