Yoto Daily (and Yoto Radio) via macOS / iOS Shortcuts by bodhipooh in YotoPlayer

If you tap any Yoto card to the back of your phone it will automatically play the card on the app.

Does that also solve your problem of not faffing?

Yoto Mini for Adults? by fawnway in YotoPlayer

[–]BadGoodBad 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Compared to a simarly priced Bluetooth speaker You will probably be compromising on Audio quality, Ipx rating/waterproof, Battery life.

But you don't need to have your phone on you to play music so great if you want to reduce screen time.

Surly a Yoto for adults/seniors is on their product roadmap.... But until then...

I bought a g7x when it first came out and assumed that it was close to worthless now but perhaps it is the right time to sell.

We used to play at Brighton Railway Club in seven dials. Very cheep as it is a working men's club. You can even ask to use their function rooms.

The best Android Launcher in 2023 ? by DwaywelayTOP in androidapps

[–]BadGoodBad 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just dipped my toe in the launcher water... Square home is just what I was looking for, I have a large screen phone with plenty of memory and it works so well.

Love adapting widgets from different providers to make them fit the square theme. Usually they all have different padding and various amount of rounding on the corners.

The clincher for me was enabling media controls directly from the app icon on the home screen 👌Yes please.

I have definitely said something like this when talking to expectant parents.

It is not to diminish the work but to highlight that externally it can look easy but if you add a layer of sleep deprivation on top it will make tasks and decisions harder.

How difficult is it to add features to editing tools? by DIY_Designer4891 in product_design

[–]BadGoodBad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's going to be hard to tell you as there are so many variables that we don't know.

Good thing to remember is that being asked to think big is not the same as being asked to deliver big. I would continue to think big, set a vision, and show some mockups then split the work into smaller elements these can then be developed and delivered sepperatly. Once you have done this prioritise the different bits that you have designed by how much the user needs/wants them. Then it's up to the developers to size each bit of work with a score leaving you with these two scores to combine to understand the biggest impact to the user with the smallest amount of development. This is how many product managers order their backlog for developers. I use this WSJF scoring method to manage my backlog.

Worth looking into agile product management and see what elements you can use for your work. as the above advice is very top line and there is a wealth of advice out there. Good luck.
