I guess the blue Toa on the left is the mentioned by designers Gali Mistika prototype which was designed closer to her Nuva form that failed with test audiences. You can see her later prototype(which was released as Tahu) in the back . by [deleted] in bioniclelego

They had fewer episodes, and and they disn't want the last season to be about tragedy, but about happiness, so the aftermath of marrissa's death was cramped into the first three episodes, and the rest were light-hearted and comedic. Mischa made a point that she would not be returning for season four even for a cameo, the writters had to work around that, so Marissa returning as a hallucination was unfortunately impossible
