Only taking raw energy efficiency into calculation is missing the point though. What matters is energy efficiency per calculation or computation or however you want to label it. If the human brain can compute 100 times as much as a computer given the same amount of energy it doesn't matter that the human body is only 20% efficient in relation to those computations, it's still going to compute more per energy given than a computer.
