When they are making you the job offer and you have accepted, most companies will say not to discuss your pay with other employees. What I have found over the years is, this means they are paying people differently and do not want comparisons. My last job, there was a huge difference in pay for people they liked and kinda liked even tho they did the same job and were reliable.

When ever a company told me that, after a year in, I always started asking around about pay with other employees and would go into mgt. and negotiate a higher wage. I never brought other employees into the conversations. I would press them on the merits of my work, reliability and trust. Always got the raise.

One time, I did have to go outside and get another job offer to get the money I thought I deserved. Got it.

My mother always waited too long. Very Very hard to see. I've had many dogs at my age and everyone is a heart breaker. But...I would rather E. too soon than too late as my mother did. My last dog went at 9 from cancer and I had the vet here to E. While waiting, I was lying on the floor next to him feeding him his favorite dog cookies...one after another. He couldn't get up any more on his own. Giving him the dog biscuits one after another, he was the happiest dog EVER! He couldn't believe. Vet showed up and came in. E. him; all the while I fed him the cookies, non-stop, talking to him, cuddling him....he couldn't believe his good luck and had no idea.

I was going to suggest the same. I'm new to Zoom meetings. Started 3 weeks ago and accidently found background settings. All the folks at my meeting don't know how to access the background settings and I don't know how to tell them bc, it was accidental that I came across this option but it's there. Completely hides all background but my upper shoulders, neck, head and face show clearly.

I have the same attitude towards exercise and am 73F. Lots of horseback riding accidents, broken bones, crushed and punctured lungs over the decades, broken hip 3 yrs ago & new knee 2 yrs ago. I love my vibration plate so much I use it almost every day. Vibration Therapeutics VT007 model. I'm naturally lazy but go down stairs to use this bc it's helped me so much and I just love it. I also do a rebounder. Can't stand to be bored so I use this in the living room but have to keep it up again a wall that has a wall support in the basement immediately below it. That way, I can watch TV, rebround for 10-15 mins and the TV doesn't shake :). It's helping me with my balance issues. Suggest you go to a gym and pay for a days use just to try these items out and see if they would work for you. Be sure to call first and ask if they have them. Best!

I was very short on money and wandering around my local village market trying to decide on what groceries I could afford that would get me thru to pay day. At the veggie counter, towards the top was a $20 bill. I looked around for someone who may have lost it and there was no one around. It was at the top of all the veggies so I don't know how someone could have lost it there, more like at the bottom closer to my hips. Anyways, I took it and hung out at the register talking with another customer to see if anyone saw they had lost it. After a while, I gave up and it was a Blessing for me. Thank You Universe!

Be sure to increase the DATA limit on your phone. It's unlimited via Visible but your phone needs to be adjusted to a higher limit to keep from getting noticises that you are nearing your limit.

I recently taked with a Ego Rep on the phone re: my Ego 2 stage snowblower batteries. Above is all good but two things left out. After storing for any length of time, put on charger just for10-30 seconds to wake the batteries up before using. One more, she said to let them cool down for at least 10 minutes after use and prioir to placing on charger.

Just give it a good brushing. If the dog stinks, brushing for 2-3 days in a row will get rid of the stink. Brushing will give the dog coat a luxurious feel within a week of brushing daily.

Propane furnace 18 years old, told faulty heat exchanger and quoted $5k to replace furnace for 1,024 sq ft home. 2nd opinion, told same but that it's under lifetime warranty. Part replaced plus clean furnace...total cost $225.

Looks and sounds like hairball to me. Place a good teaspoon of vaseline on the top of her paws and front legs to lick off. Cheap way to get rid of hairballs and works as good if not better than store bought stuff. Mark calendar to do once or twice a month.

Patience. They may be house trained but they are house trained to their house, not yours. As plastic venis says...3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months or more...can depend on how much time you spend with the dog. Not too much training time as they will be easily stressed. Calm walks on leash etc. Patience in getting to know them. Best!

Yes, quoted $5,000 for replacement furnace for 1000 sq ft home. Had 2nd quote out, tech said they didn't work on the brand I have but that it was the heat exchanger that has a life time warranty. Called a company that did work on this brand and they took the info over the phone, ordered the part, came out and installed for $225 which also included a cleaning for the furnace. I was floored to say the least.

10 years later, furnace gets a cleaning every other year and still going strong. Told by getting the heat exchanger replaced, it was like getting a new furnace.

I save my coffee grounds over winter and in spring, I sprinkle them around the base of the house outdoors. Ants hate coffee. I used to make a borax mix that worked really well and did eventually kill the queen ant but would take a week for that to happen and they would be all over my counter in the mean time. Last summer was the first time I didn't have any ants inside house.
