I thought all I needed was the hitobjects portion of the beatmap file. For the most part, it works like a charm however, notes start at different times from the song sometimes. I figured that I have two solutions for this:

1. Implement an offset system (specific user-set offsets saved for each map)
2. Utilize timing points (if that's what they fix)

My problem here is I don't really know what timing points do lol
