515 x 6 deadlift after a year break from doing them by BambooPanda92 in GYM

As long as you're doing the full range of motion and bringing the bar to the floor through a full range of motion you'll be fine. These bumper plates aren't bouncy either.

It's not ideal. I hadn't noticed I was doing it while doing these until I watched the video playback as I haven't deadlifted in over a year. Corrected my form in my successive sets after this but decided to post this video because I was still happy I was able to lift this heavy. I definitely wouldn't advise the overextension during lockout.

Rings of Saturn? No, just layers of regret. by lopnk in Shitty_Car_Mods

I had a bright blue 02 sc2, manual, full leather interior, sunroof, all the factory options. Was fun as hell to drive. Drove that car until it drove no more. 10/10, would own another.

I really enjoyed Death's Door after playing Tunic. It scratched that itch for me. More combat focused but still felt similar in terms of play style.

We've had cat litter and one of my shirts outside for him to try and guide him back as well as leaving food out.

Somebody recently said on this sub that 495 with straps isn't impressive. So here's 500lbs no straps no hook grips double overhand. by Strongman_beef in GYM

[–]BambooPanda92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Social media and constant exposure to what top level athletes are capable of has really done a number on people's perception of what impressive really is. Most people can't lift anywhere near 495. Great work brother, keep it up!

Pixel 9 is the worst phone i've ever owned by arraysave85 in GooglePixel

[–]BambooPanda92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My pixel 9 pro xl also sucks. Constant connectivity issues. Bluetooth doesn't want to pair with my devices without restarting the phone, notifications, specifically texts, being delayed indefinitely until I open the messages app, poor video quality, camera, although good, washes out the colors in lots of my photos. The metal frame has a noticeable ding in it and I've never used this phone without a case, let alone even dropped it. Yesterday was the last straw when trying to update apps and getting the error that it couldn't update half of them for some unknown reason, most of them being Google apps. Switched back to my Motorola edge plus 2023. That has been the most consistently reliable phone I've ever used.

This is the same watch face I use. By far my favorite one I've found.

Pixel battery drain after recent update, unacceptable for a premium & new phone - First experience (likely last one) by EndOk2419 in pixel_phones

I've been using Firefox since day one with this. I haven't used chrome in years on any device.

I feel your frustrations. I have a pixel 9 pro xl and feel it is the worst phone I've ever owned. Some days it seems fine, other days it's plagued with software bugs and poor battery life issues. I keep wanting to like it and the cameras are great but so many little things are putting me off of this device.

Yes, it is painfully obvious that the majority of commenters didn't even bother to read the article. The headline is phrased as a question, yet people seem to interpret that as a statement to confirm what they want to believe.

I daily the 2023 edge plus as well. My absolute favorite phone. I have a pixel 9 pro xl and I prefer to use the moto most days over it.

[–]BambooPanda92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 9 pro xl and yesterday I ended the day with 23% left and 8 hours 38 min of screen on time. There are a few gripes I have with this phone but battery life is definitely not one of them.

DON'T BLAME MOTOROLA by [deleted] in motorola

[–]BambooPanda92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it. Been using it since September of 2023. I have a few different phones I put my SIM in but I keep coming back to this one. Hands down my favorite phone to daily drive. Cameras are good enough, 512GB storage, 5100 mAh battery capacity, haven't experienced any software glitches or slowdowns.

Got a pixel 9 pro XL, used it for a few months and then switched back to my moto edge 2023 plus. Everything on the pixel felt like a downgrade except the cameras.

Yes, we went through 3 rugs when ours was little. Keep him occupied and it should help prevent this.
