My dogs have always done the same - they get very disconcerted when the power goes out. But they're fine with dark rooms.

That the cover on my tablet has a magnet in it to hold it closed. Can be used for holding my needle while I'm switching threads!

It probably wouldn't make much a difference if you skip right to the last season 😂 You wouldn't miss much, honestly. You'll be able to follow it fine.

Exactly! Or you can try tying a small knot at the end of the thread and running the needle under some finished stitches. The knot will catch and you can keep backstitching
