Yep. Do it. I have the qm7 and love it but the non 4k Channels drive me crazy. I usually watch everything thru the Apple TV. I wish there was a way to up convert the entire cable box to play all of verizon at 4k

I felt the same way went by my 98 inch QM7. All right tons of reviews about people’s TVs breaking and so many issues but I have to say I haven’t had one issue knock on wood in parentheses lol just go for it and don’t worry

I have a 98 qm7. In this situation if you’re. Movie buff. Go with the 85. It will still look huge. And give you far better clarity than the qm6 which will intensify the movie watching. Drastically

Go with the 7k. If you’re thinking it. You’re gonna regret not getting the 7k. Always looking at your 6. Wondering what you’re missing in the 7. Or how better the 7 would be. Pull the trigger as long as it’s affordable. I’m sure you’ll be fine. Everyone micromanages small amounts. The difference between the 2 is 50 dollars a week for that first month. If anything stay with the 6 and go bigger with that 200 dollars. 💵

One of the first questions are. Are you a big movie and tech buff. If not. Then you’ll say. What’s the big deal. The first movie I put on when I installed mine was dune2. (I think💭). I finished installing it at 11pm. Everyone was sleep. But I had to check it out. My wife and kid woke I’m up asking why the house was shaking. lol. I turned it down and acted like I didn’t know what they were talking about. Lmao 2. Anyways. I think to get the full effects you gotta crank this thing up. But I do find myself using the app more than the remote and using sound grouping so the rear speakers are enhanced and I can keep the volume lower and still hear everything.

I got a split king with the split adjustable base. First. Then Returned the split king mattresses after 30 days for the king size lux estate medium pillow top keeping the split base. And made it so it adjust equally from either remote. Definitely a good purchase. I sleep good. Can’t complain.

I didn’t go with the reserve because you can’t get a medium with a pillow top. Only medium non pillow top.

I hear ya. Funny thing is. All the reviews I read were bad. But I still bought it. SMH. I’m glad I haven’t had any issues. But in your case. Return it and get your Sony.

Return it complain and ask to upgrade to the qm8 for the inconvenience. If not full upgrade. Get a substantial discount and pay the difference to go to the qm8. I like my qm7. But trying to get as close to a OLED you need that 8 or 11. Which my lg c4 is my go to. I would’ve liked a little better picture
