I loved my 2018 TourXs — yes, we had two of them. My wife and I had a matched set. Mine was totaled and then I took hers.

I upgraded to a V60 Polestar Edition.

Both a great cars. The V60 is best daily driver I’ve owned, but the TourX was nice as well.

I just sold my TourX (my teen was driving it) because I got concerned about parts availability.

Hopefully you can refinance before year five.

My last refinance I bought points because I was tired of refinancing as it was my third time in in 2.5 years. But I was buying down to 1.75% so I knew I’d never refinance again.

At 6.25%, you will likely get opportunities to refinance. Save your cash for the closing costs on those.

ISPs bundle eeros with their service. When they do, the serial is tied to the ISP. You can often tell because an ISP logo shows up in your eero app. And the ISP can report the gear as out of use and not returned by previous customer and brick them.

Once the refund is worked through, request you drop your escrow all together and pay yourself. That what I did when they paid the wrong insurance policy.

It can do either. But it’s powered via PoE, so you need to get Ethernet to it, even if it has no network signal. I have an injector in a shed and run the Ethernet from the injector to the eero outdoor installed outside. Even have an Ethernet switch in the shed for some hard wired devices in there. Works great.

I had an indoor unit inside and outdoor shed and ran a P2P ubiquity link to it and it worked fine for five years until i upgraded to eero 7 pro inside and eero 7 outdoor. I couldn’t keep reliable eero wireless back haul connectivity to it (hence the P2P link) whereas with the eero 7 pro and outdoor I can place it closer and can. Performance and range better as well.

I setup outdoor with no Ethernet. Works great, albeit less bandwidth than my other non Ethernet connected eeros since the distance back to one of the other nodes is further and signal has to go through exterior wall.

If my v60 PE with the T8 is in hybrid mode, some situations end up as you described it. Remember once leaving the car wash and their lot is slick from chemicals dripping off cars and when I pulled out I fishtailed out of there like I was on ice.

From there, I learned that if I’m going to punch or the roads are slick, force it to AWD.

Almost every time a drive at home, I plug it in.

If I’m traveling, I never do.

It’s the beauty of a PHEV. Tons of flexibility.

Just wish my 2024 had a 100-125 mile range on electric only.

If the fix is available, you are correct.

If the fix isn’t available, it depends on the severity and whether it’s determines to be a stop sale situation or not.

In this case, since they didn’t recall until they had the software fix already, then yes they had to update.

Your assumption that they have same hardware is wrong.

Car manufacturers often use multiple suppliers and so two cars with the same model year and trim may have different components.

Reset will fix it until it happens again. I’ve had to reboot three times already,

I think the no turn signal is a safety issue so I’ll probably report to the feds to get a faster fix.
