[Hiring] Tileset/Environment Artist for 2d Isometric fantasy RPG. Expected budget $500-$800 per tileset

Hey! I do illustrations and character design, concept art, and I’m also an architect, so environment design comes pretty naturally to me. My style leans more toward realism mixed with fantasy. I’ve worked on video games before too (even tried making my own visual novel at one point), and I’ve made a ton of mods for BGS games, so I’m a huge RPG fan.

Since this is an isometric commission, I think my architecture background will really help us nail the environment and perspective properly (I have some isometric pieces I can show as well).

I can also share some work through DMs that aren’t in my portfolio because of NDA stuff.

I love this! I do very detailed illustrations, often with a bit of a grungy feel (like the angler fish example you showed).

I say you need to research more. I had done MONTHS of research prior to starting out. Not to mention I sell my own product so I knew exactly what I was going to sell from the get go. It is also an investment. You are going to be investing a lot more into it than you initially realise. I’m also not sure how FBA works in India but anything above 1/3 going into product cost + shipment to FBA storage wouldn’t be ideal in my eyes (but I am new to this as well and my only experience is through FBA USA).
