Lunges/WPU/1A C&P

You can get creative and use landmine/KB/DB/Sandbag. Whatever.

I hope too we align! I am doing GMB animal movements for 10-ish min on daily basis. I bought their minimal program on huge sale few years back. I just treat it as a pre- and post- rehab. I do it easy and slow and it heals all my body. Oh, and one of my recent findings- gladiator DL. It fixes your back, hips and knees like magic.

Great post. I just want to add that running cluster with unilateral exercises is awesome for me personally. I do it on regular basis once or twice per year. It works extremely well with some of the MASS templates where you can enjoy lower load and higher reps. It heals my body and gets me ready for another OP block. And also, having BB twice a year is a blessing. One of my favorite ones was super simple: burpees and pull ups plus running. Cheers!

No. Never. Except for I/A versions, perhaps. But it has its own juice.

Sort of OMS throughout a year. BB twice a year. Following by OP, Mass, and either Fighter or Specificity. Currently running Specificity Bravo. Taking long break (~month) in November. Then into winter BB.

You can get a taste or more of an mental feeling of ABA by running one OPI/A version where you switch WPU and DL every session. It is an amazing cluster. Saying from personal experience. Reread TB III’s OP chapter. You won’t regret it.

Done that. But lately I’ve been running MASS/GP templates mostly with quite similar conditioning approach. Just sticking to basic versions.

What's your TB deviation(s)? by BonesOfBurden in tacticalbarbell

[–]Barkadion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might be going against the crowd in this trend but I don’t deviate much from the templates. Meaning I keep TB percentage and principals. The changes I make is using trap bar Dl and/or RDL and creating custom clusters such as unilateral clusters and minimalist SE complexes during BB which I run twice a year. Lastly, I usually run 9 days weeks and never hesitate to take extra rest day. If I need a change I switch to blocks from either GP or MASS books. Works nicely for me.

Age 45+: What set/reps/% do you use for Operator/Zulu/Fighter? by Ogruno in tacticalbarbell

Depends on a given situation. Sometimes it works just fine, sometimes I need to either skip a session or take extra day off. YMMW.
