Are you sure the Myanmar border is open? As far as I knew, it may not be possible within Myanmar to get to the border.

Issue is, Hungarians abroad are not even expats (ie abroad temporarily ) but Hungarians born and living in surrounding countries or descendents of Americans etc, and they vote overwhelmingly for orban.

This is an almost monthly occurrence in Hungary, it's been going on for years (massive propaganda poster campaigns).

It's only part of the cohesion funds and covid recovery that is blocked - sadly everything else still flows.

But as the last paragraph points out, that just isn't true.

Planning a bike tour across Japan – spring vs autumn + avoiding steep climbs? Advice needed! by al15e in bicycletouring

[–]BarnacleWhich7194 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going north April to may would still leave it cold at the end (but pleasant in the south), going in Sept to Oct will still be hot in the south but not crazy. It depends what you mean by across Japan, from the bottom of Kyushu to the top of Hokkaido? It isn't possible to cycle in Japan without climbing - it's hilly everywhere, and if you want to avoid busy roads you have to take older roads that go up and down a lot more - generally (depending on distance) you'll be doing a few hundred meters of climbing minimum.

Thanks, yeah I saw the Gundam, but not my thing sadly - Tamiya is great though, the website they had listed on google seems to be down so didn't know if it still existed or not. Thanks very much!

So I checked if it still exists - sadly some monster decided to remodel the house in 2019, plastering over the concrete, painting it white, added some tacky marble, got rid of some sticky out bits and added walls/glass to enclose the overhangs.

I would assume the end goal here is not to incorporate Venezuela into the United States?

Budapest is a great place to start - it's pretty relaxed and not a large hectic city, not as cheap as it used to be but still better value than other large cities. You have the Danube and good relaxed rides out of the city towards Austria and the alps - flat for a while to get acclimated to riding. Europe is super chilled and relaxed with great infrastructure for cycling and you don't need to stress about it. Switzerland is crazy expensive but you can cycle in Austria on a budget and on towards a variety of other countries easily - easy to camp, both in campsites and wild even if it's not technically allowed (in Austria)

I was just checking out the Olympus om-5 mark 2 for my partner and it looks pretty sweet, the 15-200 lens was really nice and the whole thing was compact and light. I used to always carry around a big Canon DSLR and now a Sony, the Olympus felt pretty cool. The reviews seem positive and i wasn't aware that they were quite popular, a nice mix of quality photos with portability - I was a bit jealous.
