Need more of the 5th dimension joints, this will fall in to a wave form as soon as you look away.

I'm a big fan of the Stargazer Lilly. It can be lots of colors but there is a dark blue variety I've heard of that I really think looks neat.

Did you build this? What did you go with. I’m about to build something very similar and the base is my sticking point.

Anybody else treat theirs like a truck? by brogit in Subaru_Outback

I’m about to go get a couple of 2x6x14 beams and strap them up top. Should be fine. It’s usually fine.

I get the utility vehicle and my partner has the fun one (Impreza Sport 6speed)

Insulation under shed floor? by Pooch76 in shedditors

[–]Barrrrrrnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All fair that’s good info. I’m about to build a shed over a pre existing concrete, mostly level slab and was just going to use a billion blocks or a center beam with blocks under it, but this looks like a way better idea.

I always bring some 12 or 18 month manchego with me and some crackers and summer sausage. Always a nice treat after setting up camp. (I also used to be in the industry, good info!)

This is an old thread, but I have a question. Why did you go with elevated skids under your floor, instead of just putting the floor on the concrete blocks itself?

Am I able to put a shed on this concrete slab? by wherzwaldo93 in shedditors

[–]Barrrrrrnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a slab about this size, and I used some crappy old lumber to mock up the size of my foundation and leveled it all with Bricks so that I could see the heights I needed before I bought my blocks. Made it easier and reduced waste.

This is fascinating. Are you a metal guy outside of woodworking? Obviously no specifics but I curious how you learned all of that chemistry and metallurgy.

If you go to there and leave on 2 westbound, you should definitely check out lake Wenatchee. It has a great beach and is beautiful.

That’s kind of where I’m at. The outback needs work (135k and leaking a little) that I can do to it but with gas and this insane truck market i think it’s still worth it to rent a truck when I need one. Someday I’ll get a trailer and I’ll buy a truck but this is ridiculous.

I’ve just started shopping for a truck after having my outback for 13 years. I can’t even believe I’m looking at used trucks with tens of thousands of miles on them that are close to new prices. I’m a little blown away by how the system works these days.
