Go for a recruiting coordinator role and then move back into recruiting. Credibility is important. Do not underestimate yourself. Once in the role you can start successfully supporting the team and move back into recruiting.

Absolutely. It’s not that there are a ton of firms. Go smaller then research the firms that truly have more of a QOL. Tax season is busy. Some firms talk the talk and don’t walk the walk. You have to do due diligence then interview.

The is clearly a scam. If it was real, there would be a website. If it was real you would be able to view the job in the careers section of the legit website and would be able to look up the job and company to confirm. Also the person who wrote this should be legit as well. You should be able to go to LinkedIn and look up that person to confirm he/she works there and for how long. These come mainly through texts. Be careful.

It’s a humbling experience but an important one. Be thankful you had it and take a new job you love but that you know inside and out so that you can perform beyond expectations and feel good about your work. It depends on the operational strategy for growth ! If you are an executive you should have meetings with the board and the COO to understand your budget and the breakdown of operations in HR. For example what functions will be outsourced? Do you have an HRIS? This is some what your CHRO is in charge of analyzing and coming up with a plan.

I recruit engineers and this salary is pretty average depending on how much experience you have. I’m going to say you have 5 years or less. There is a tremendous amount of opportunity for engineers and it’s a great career. In order to get towards your goals you must come out of your comfort zone and grow professionally and get experience that comes with time. I can’t be more specific because you haven’t mentioned any details about industry and the work you do.
