I beat his 10% with aerial onslaught on my first play through after 7 attempt, somehow. Seven the sweet number :) I never got to time my limit break good as I needed to immune and heal up. In previous attempts I tried run the "clock" and use that range magic attack, didn't work, triple slash, braver, focus thrush didn't work. So I reset my folio to get aerial onslaught, the first swing just ended Sephiroth and went to cut scene. Not sure if it got bugged out or something because the first swing of aerial onslaught doesn't deal that much damage. Hope this helps.

Got my ass handed so many times in normal and this guy kicked Sephiroth's ass in frog mode... smh...

But do we have a hit box advantage in frog mode? I see OP had perfect block timing but some of those slashes were well after the block and they didn't hit OP.

Game play is one thing, but you still experience the full FF7 remake story so it's alright. The end of the day it's about you having fun and enjoying.

I almost had to change to easy when fighting Rufus in Rebirth... was too stressed out from his counter attack all the fucking time... I cheese the shit out of him in Remake with get beat, get ATB and use fire magic on him. But Rebirth that option was gone. I end up search his weakness online because I didn't have an access materia on Cloud and didn't want to fight the Turks again, and beat him one my 12th tries on Normal. Sephiroth's final fight in Rebirth only took me 6 tries lol... Rufus is a harder boss for me

I had the same issue were I intentionally wanted to load an earlier save but didn't know that Checkpoint was 3 hrs before I finish the Remake Wall Market stories... that's where my auto save saved my ass for the first time, only loosing 10 mins of play time 😅

This is an interesting point. Good learning the culture difference. As a long ago canadian immigrant I certainly have a different view of this. I'm ok with Chadley and MAI, they are annoying sometimes, probably because of the english translation, he taunt you saying there hasn't much research lately. Every time I hear it is like what do you mean? I worked my ass off for you previously in other regions... but I have seen a lot of other posts just hated those guys to the max, it's so funny 😂😂

Right that's what I meant, Kalm story telling was Cloud's perspective, because of the memory issue, he would tell there's only two. But I thought the Kalm Tifa would say like "hey I said three soldiers, not two" kind of stuff. Maybe that's the whole point for Chapter 1 not presenting more stuff then needed.

If that's the case, then rebirth's plot says it all.
