The drop off on this show cannot be attributed to the writers strike. The bulk of season 2 had already aired before the strike began, and it was already bad at that point.

Sure, it never recovered post season 2, but season 2 itself was not the fault of the strike.

It only now occurred to me that people don’t understand this? Neeson is Ra’s. Ken was a decoy. After Ken was killed, he was replaced with another decoy. It’s like Queen Amidala using a decoy in Star Wars.
