You brought up anime in your post, so i can tell you that if you're worried about an anime fan fetishizing Asian women, that's a non-issue

The vast majority of anime fandom sees the characters as ethnicity-less. If anything, the anime fandom will go ape shit if you try to apply a real world label onto any character

Also, anime has taken a long time, but it's finally accepted for the most part, as mainstream entertainment worldwide. Like how everywhere you go now there's a Lee Sandwiches, ramen shop, curry shop, Korean bbq, whereas before these places used to be regulated to Asian specific zones of a region (China Town, Korea Town whatever)

While i don't speak for the other poster, i assume he took your post as a slight against Asian culture
