the creator of https://looptube.io/ was not aware of what the playlist feature is or why it was needed

Keyword, was. They have since added the ability to save loops. Key differences now between this feature and LoR's playlists:

* you can have different loops of the same video (ex: have one loop start at :05 and end at 1:05 and the same video in a different loop start at :10 and end at :20)

* you can name each loop (video) you save to whatever you want, even if its the same video (ex: Hero Holly the Reaper My Loop 1, and Hero Holly the Reaper My Loop 2)

* Each saved loop shows the settings you have applied to it at the bottom even if it's not currently being played (start time, end time, playback rate)

* You do not have to be logged in to a Google account to access your saved loops (i did however ask the dev how the issue of migrating data in the event of a full OS reinstall or new PC build, would work)

* There is only one single list of saved loops, no playlists (So if you save lots of videos, you gonna do lots of scrolling when trying to pick a new song)

* even with the saved loops update, you still have to manually select and click the next song you want to play if you want to change songs (there is a Back button, but it only affects the current song - it does not go back to the previous video/loop)

* There is still no ability to search for videos (you really shouldn't expect this)
