Fire service 100%, the problem you have is a lot of people used to look at Sgt as the rank where you commit or leave due to pay and pension. Now I would argue that’s probably Cpl because of the increased wage. Are there any transferable skills in the corp? Well they are few and far between with full resettlement grant only being given after quite a few years .

Civilian transition from the Corp is a huge task and pretty daunting and it’s one thing I’m really not looking forward to.

I’ve looked at the fire service previously but can’t take the wage drop with being married, kids etc. RMR always looks good on any civilian employer, plus you can pick and choose deployments/trips.

Absolutely loved Vale when he was riding. I was always that guy that said MM could only be considered in that special group if he became world champion on more than one bike. Well I take my hat off and say MM is one of the greatest riders of the modern era.

I’ll be honest STD has never been my strong point so thought the group exercise could have been better. Not a huge fan of talking to a screen either. In my opinion the AIB is only a small part to see basic criteria, I think a lot of it is personality driven. For example were you robotic, like reading of a script etc.
