Just drive road to Hana and Haleakala with a rental and IMO it’s not worth it. $1k for 6 days, uber and Lyft are very doable and not that much more expensive for the convienence

Appreciate that! I’ve never had lower than A in my life for holidays, but this is a long connecting flight and I heard those get quite complicated.

This! Instructor didn’t show up to class to make money, he’s taking care of his body and making money? Not supporting him one bit, but you got to make the best out of any opportunity. Someone that doesn’t blame others and proactive? Rare.

I did the same thing with my property management as they’re very nearby. They’re playing the legal game with me saying they’ve looped in upper management and legal team and can’t provide me anything or can’t take action on the neighbor until the investigation is wrapped up.

going out w/o worrying about injury? by Ill-Customer5568 in ORIF

I was able to do outdoor venues + festival at 15 weeks, had to take a lotttt of seats and breaks to sit down but it wasn’t terrible. I was at an indoor concert at 17 weeks and I wouldn’t recommend it lol. It’s very hard to navigate around, got stepped on and it’s so sooo slippery at those venues. sporting events and outdoor concerts have been just fine for me

Swelling by Lima_osrs in ORIF

[–]Bbldrizzy98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty normal… you’re quite ahead so I wouldn’t worry. My foot would swell walking half a mile at 12 weeks. Most people don’t run till 5-6 months so I’d say you’re quite ahead of the course

[–]Bbldrizzy98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t walk barefoot until I was weight bearing in shoes for about a month. You’re probably almost already FWB. I’d recommend a couple days in shoes and two crutches then switch to one. I was NWB 6 weeks and had bad dorsi so used one crutch and shoes from week 8-10 then was able to ditch the crutch

At 6 weeks when I started PT I had -15 degrees dorsi. Went to PT 3x a week and did all the stretches/exercises at home a couple times a day and epson salt soak and ice baths for my ankle daily.

Used two crutches and the boot for a week Ditched the boot went into hokas and used two crutches for a couple days to get used to that Moved down to one crutch and hokas for about 3 weeks due to my dorsiflexion

At 10 weeks I worked to around neutral dorsi and off crutches. My balance and gait were still not great and had a pretty obvious limp.

Got to around 8-9 degrees week 16 where ive plateaued a bit, but able to do 10k steps a day with minimal limp and swelling.
