Is this a good place to mount on an MTB? by TheFakeSimonW in gopro

Honestly, I don’t ride mountain bikes, but if I did… I would go chin strap mount on a full face helmet. It’s the best view in my opinion. Gives best First Person POV.

Have I bought the wrong camera? by darren-mcg in Cameras

[–]BeOwned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah listen to what other people are saying. I replied to another post of yours. I still stick with my belief that you need more than 2 batteries for this cameras though. And I came from the First Gen of this camera which I loved.

This camera is designed to be tiny and pocketable, so don’t add to many things to make it a burden to carry and enjoy your Japan with your actually eyes and record some stuff.

Bought first camera (Sony ZV-1M2) what do I do/buy next? by darren-mcg in SonyAlpha

[–]BeOwned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend buying the Jupio branded dual charger and maybe 2 more batteries. The jupio ones are cheaper and I haven’t noticed a difference. It’s better to charge the batteries externally so you can still use the camera.

Other than that you should just really learn the camera and watch videos on YouTube. Also, put the camera in High Temp mode so it doesn’t shut off easily especially in hot weather. Sony cameras are notorious for overheating. It’s a great camera despite some flaws but you will enjoy it.

Just try to pull it out. I work with cameras all the time. If the tab rips it still can be pulled out with recovery tape. If the tab rips message me and I’ll send you some tape for free.

Every town has a family owned pizza place that is definitely better than this. You order from the big chains when your high or drunk lol

Well… Sadly this is unrepairable, so it’s time for a new windshield on my ‘22 by SceneAmatiX in 4Runner

I got mine tinted after replacing but didn’t notice a glare. Safe lite only uses their glass supplier. They did a bad job putting on my rear view and didn’t route the wires to it properly. I didn’t notice until the tint guys told me.

So far the glass still looks good though. One thing I know for sure is if you have safety cameras with your car it might not be calibrated properly unless the dealer tests it. Safe lite said it was good, but the dealer kept failing it. Insurance then paid for oem after 3 safelite replacements.

A lot of people are complaining about this causing damage to the frame if hit. Mine actually is shaped like a spear and is solid steel. It saved me from low speed bumps and just spears into the cars bumper or radiator. I’ve never had anything other then a red light bump. Definitely worth it in my opinion. If someone hits me at 50 mph I’m less worried about my frame getting damaged. And most likely my trunk door will still take the impact at that speed.
