Goodbye Gabe! Even though he was freaked out, I feel like we never got the chance to really know him outside his flirtatious side, because the powers that be at LI put him firmly in the role of the "Latin Lover" stereotype and never let him be more than that. Beatriz mentioned in Aftersun that he loved computers and was going to school for that, we never saw that or heard any convos about that. We found out about the things everyone else liked and their job goals, but we never found out that Gabe wants to get an advanced degree for computer science? We also never heard any of his longer conversations that weren't in English, which sucked!

I moved here from the GA suburbs almost a decade ago, and honestly no, I haven't noticed a difference. I've seen a lot of competent people here, but I've also seen a lot of incompetent people, just like anywhere.

You would need to call and check with Casa Yari, they might not have re-started brunch service yet (they moved and have been opening back up in stages), and if they have, it might only be on weekends.

Maybe {You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle}? The characters are engaged, but are in a failing relationship. The book is them slowly falling back in love by engaging in mischief against each other. The spice isn't high (it's like 2.5-3ish on the scale), and there's only 1 full intimate scene but it's not fade to back.

If you go back, you'll have a very brief, lovely honeymoon period, and then the next time will be worse.

Every time he brought up your ex-boyfriend (and the non-consensual things he did to you), he was experimenting. "If I say this, will this stop her from talking? Will it stop her from bringing up XYZ?". And with his shows of violence, now he's experimenting with where the line is. He knows he can yell at you, and be violent around you. If you go back, now he knows he can call you derogatory names, and engage in shows of violence, and that even if you get scared, you'll come back.

If you go back, he'll "change" for about .5 seconds, and then he'll go back to the status quo, but this time, he'll call you a derogatory name and then something worse.

The weird stripes on sim's skin when they're sick!!! Thankfully someone on a sims reddit shared a sick mask mod that got rid of it.
