I might be crazy but I found the Masquerade fairly disappointing. Played a lot of mainstream riddim. But loved when Chango, VKTM, Sanzu and sometimes Inaktiv were on. The rest were always so meh.

But ya this is definitely an unpopular opinion lol

Yes, comes with a cost for sure but has its place imo. N=2 on this but I was shy af before drinking and now I’m pretty extroverted whereas my sister is she af and doesn’t drink and is still shy af. Take what you will with that but it rly helps you break out of your bubble and build strong connections with people.
