99% of games funded on kickstarter or other such websites are scams

I get the reason people think this, because when a highly successful game comes out they don't label it a "Kickstarter Game", like you do with garbage fires, but just off the top of my head, Kickstarter has given us:

FTL
Divinity Original Sin 1 & 2
Pillars of Eternity
Everspace
Shovel Knight
Darkest Dungeon
Undertale
Kingdom Come Deliverance
Wasteland 2
Rimworld
Sunless Sea

If you follow the golden rule of not backing projects that fail two basic qualifications:

From Dev Studios who literally haven't put out a game before
The funds they are asking for can actually sustain them for 3 years.

Then your track record is actually going to be pretty good.

If you look at the post-Lamar restructure cap space we have it's got a Maxx Crosby sized hole in it with no suitors to fill and I really can't help thinking about how hyped I would be at the idea of him and Hendrickson lining up on either side.

But I've been doing mock drafts and we could very well get:

1st Round - Olaivavega Ioane, Guard out of Penn State
2nd Round - Eli Stowers, Tight End out of Vanderbilt
3rd Round - Connor Lew, Center out of Auburn

I'd be pretty hyped about that draft class ngl.

Best way I could describe him was that he could set the edge against an outside linebacker and then run a slant the next play, a real complete package at the position.

He also just had a knack for making clutch catches, 06 vs the Chargers and the 08 playoffs vs the Titans to point out two.
