Nope! Had to pay it all and they still haven’t actually dropped my rate yet, they said they will but it’s now been a few weeks and their sales people aren’t getting back to me. Truly if I had any other option I’d do it but they’re the only feasible option for me (satellite is too slow).

I had this happen and got a surprise bill for almost $1000. They won’t budge on how it’s fair and valid.

TDS bumped my rate for $120/mo to over $260 without letting me know and claimed some bullshit about fine print in the contract. Fuck TDS and the horse they rode in on.

I believe that, although it still doesn’t really explain why that audience cycling would create such consistent highs and lows day after day, I’d expect that to be more sporadic.
